Looks like he is coming here In a couple of weeks much to the disgust of many fans.
All his past and grubbyness aside where does he fit in the team?
Off the bench?
Possible starter?
At who's expense?
 
This is the worst thing we could do. I thought he had other issues besides the New York incident and I see the ex came out a couple of years ago accusing him of some serious domestic violence offences. I thought I remember reading other stuff also.

It’s just a joke really, these people don’t change unfortunately. Only a matter of time. It makes you wonder what the players think.

If you really wanted to know about the guys character ask who he played footy with growing up through the grades
 
If Lodge can bring the aggression, leg speed and roll on we need to be successful in this new era I'd swap them Klem and give Mann as well. Respect to Klem but he lost his aggression before he left the dogs
 
I wouldnt swap klem for lodge. I dont think klem is no longer effective in the new format. Though he has lost some aggression which hurts his game.

Lodge will probably take a bench spot.
 
His a done deal, we are getting him for $400k a year for the next 3 years with Donkeys picking up half the freight.

Good God that’s depressing. If we get the defensive line properly reset three times in the whole game it’d be a miracle.
 
There’s a hard limit on how many old school forwards with poor mobility you can carry at once now. Like at most one on the field at a time. We already had a pack that was mostly players like that. Adding another shows we have no idea.

All this tells us is that the talk about Isaac Moses running the club is true. This is a horrible football decision. The team has a lot of problems, but forwards not churning out 10-12 good hit ups per game isn’t one of them.

The club is stupid, weak, doesn’t understand why things are going wrong, and it turns out has absolutely zero integrity or standards.
 
So who is the players being let go? Has to be Mann to Brisbane, Lee to Brisbane seems a better fit, or Green retire.
 
I don't understand why we are still buying up forwards, let's just keep throwing money at it until it performs consistently? We have a bigger problem with depth in our backs imo. Clifford will help in the halves but if we are seriously letting Lee go, we seem even more thin there.

Mate, I'm sorry but did you not see what the Tigers did to us up the middle?
 
Do we think Sue gets dropped for Lodge?
He only got 19mims on the weekend.
Personally he has played better than what I expected from him at the start of the year, but I can't see who else gets dropped.
We need the versatility of Joness on the bench imo
 
Yes, Sue will be out straight away. Lodge will take his spot if we sign him and will probably play more minutes than J Saf.
 
Sue has more or less been our most consistent forward this year, I’d have thought.

I am really struggling to see what’s going on with this club … what’s the thought process behind it all? Are we just the plaything of Moses now? Shows what a big stance the Warriors made last year in getting rid of his influence from behind the scenes.

It's a very strange signing. We are in need of a good right centre and a winger or two. But let's buy a grubby prop.
 
I'm not in favour of signing Lodge, but the only thing that sets his transgressions apart from 100 others over the years is that his drunken rampage was played out in glorious technicolour on prime time TV.
If you could see actual footage, rather than words on a page, of the crimes that many, many people have been charged with, you wouldn't be able to stand the thought of them putting it behind them either.
It's very unfair that you could walk past 50 people in the street today who have done as bad or worse, but since you haven't seen the footage on your TV, it's not an issue.

400k is an absolute steal, mad if we didnt. although it could come at the expense of klemmer as there was a swap deal mentioned a few weeks ago?

But we do know... He beats his partners, and does home invasions with death threats...

Its obvious Moses runs this club, its all about $$$$$$$

You will see a lot of memberships drop...

I hate this decision...
