u see living in qld, you dont get any of the news on footy. if they dont have a story on the broncos they make one up such as:

or
"DARREN LOCKYERS GREAT GRANDMOTHER'S COUSINS NEPHEW IN LAWS DOG JUST PASSED AWAY WHEN IT SMELT LOCKYERS SOCKS"

he said something about never really have thought bout playing in england but will spend some time thinking about it this week. he cant go!!!

Hahaha. At least if he goes he has left us with some of his best ever form this year, unlike the shocking 2004 and 2005 seasons he had (he should've been in reserve grade, really).

And we do have Carmont and Tighe to replace him ...
 
and to add to the greatness of my news article titles...this was the actual thing that happened on Channel Seven news tonight.
after they did their 20sec report on barrett gettin suspended, and then theyre 10sec report on old mate with the eye gouging NOT gettin suspended...they decided to report that hodges had scans and wont play origin 2 and that the rest of the broncos origin ****heads played well and got a special day for R'n'R....now these arent the exact precise words, but its was very similar:
"AND REPORTS ARE THAT CAPTAIN DARREN LOCKYER FELL ASLEEP IN THE FLOTATION TANK FOR UP TO AN HOUR"
like seriously WHO GIVES A FLYING RATS MOTHERS F**KING ***?? surely theres sumthin a lil more interesting to report on than that?!?!?!?!

knights_chick i understand! the new zealand sports news is just as bad. i could compete with you but ive lost all hope and given up watching it! from what i can gather though our top sports story for the night had something to do with tana umuga hitting his team mate over the head with some womans handbag..... omg shock horror!

He grabbed it off somerandom lady and smashed him with it ... the hadbag itself was ok, but the cellphone was a goner.
 
yeah the woman had a huge cry about her cellphone being broken, but it was just a crappy $99 nokia clone phone that half of nz has anyway. umuga has to buy her a new phone, so she did alright out of it in the end.
