Bugger. Helluva game by sounds of it. Well done to young Fletcher hunt in first game. Made a good fist of it. Should be good highlights in Ball and HMatts. Rough day for other teams by the looks.

I don't really follow.
I watched the Johns, and Daley games and a really bad women's game between Cessnock and a side wearing an old Central Coast Centurians strip representing the central coast.
After that I watched the first half of Mathews where the dogs were destroying us at halftime.
Anyway, I've looked through the team lists and can't see a Latrell, so don't know who you mean.
3 and a half games was this old fella's limit. I'm still feeling tired 4 or 5 hours later.
 
The contrast in the refs between the Johns and Daley games was crazy.
The ref in the Johns game must have spent the last year learning every rule and he found something to penalise every 2nd or 3rd tackle. I reckon he gave between 40 and 50 penalties or 6 agains and most of the time he was the only one at the ground who knew what they were for. The players were openly baffled by his calls, but to be fair, he smashed both sides equally.
The Daley game was the complete opposite. The ref didn't seem to want to blow the whistle at all and he gave maybe 10 penalties and no 6 agains all game. The Johns guy gave 3 6 agains in a row at one point - no one knew why.
 
Jack Thompson got mentioned as one of the players of the round in Matts and also scoring try of the round for that last try in Matts.
I have to say that Diesal Hagan did as much or more in that try. Thompson was pretty good in Johns last year, but Hagan was already looking good in Matts. I assume they are the same age.

Yeah was a wicked try but I agree I think Diesal is the heart of team and catalyst when they make comebacks.

Didn’t realise how short he is but clearly doesn’t let it phase him in attack. Notice how he went in D in weekend?
