Mathews and Ball 2023

Billy

Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
4 Ball aged players have made the Emerging Blues training camp.

Taj Blackman
Ethan Ferguson
Jack Hilliar
Fletcher Sharpe

Bit surprising that Miles Martin didn't make it. He might have an injury or something.

Noticed that there were the first trial games for these teams for next season yesterday against the central coast roosters
Haven’t been able to find any info about the teams to see who has moved up or bought in.
So if anybody has any info would be good seeing as though as usual the club is so lax on providing any info on junior teams

Path ways teams have been announced on Knights page. Welcome to the future lads and ladies! Can't bloody wait

Taj Blackman at hooker is interesting. He's grown before our eyes from the tiny 14 year old in Mathews in 2019 to a really tall halfback/hooker now.

That Hillier loves a run off the back fence. Looks promising. Will probably lose him down the line as well knowing us.

26-4 at halftime
Hilliar already looks like he could sit on the bench for Flegg and play 20 good minutes.
He's not just a big guy with strength, he has a really impressive passing game and knows how and when to use it.
He reminds me of Brodie Jones when he played prop in Mathews - hopefully he'll keep improving, unlike Brodie who peaked at 18.

Less negativity more positivity. Well done Knights for producing another wonderful fwd talent. 😉

Hilliar been great. Be straight into SGball I imagine this year too. Possibly Flegg at a stretch. Lots of bubba weight to remove too. Haha.

Liked what the 5/8 has been doing too and Votano the FB
