Marathon Stadium Member Achievements and Milestones

Never posted about my own achievements but noticed I passed 25,000 posts today

It put me in a reflective mood

Just wanted to take the time to thank everyone I have gotten to know over the years and all of those who have contributed to this place

Been plenty of twists and turns, Ups and downs but I wouldn't change anything

Thanks everyone and up the mighty Knights !!!!

This forum has nearly reached 550,000 posts and has 1850 members. James should be very proud of what he has created - definitely the best Newcastle Knights forum!

I have been looking at the members who have the most messages and the members who have the highest reaction score.

James has an amazing 28,674 posts with a reaction score of 4775

There is a guy named rhugh89 who was a moderator here who has 26,401 posts who stopped posting here due to personal reasons. Does anyone know how he is going?

There is also a guy named Billy who has an amazing 23,551 posts with a 9435 reactions.

Then we have guys like Joshhh (12,532 posts), slotmachine (11,007), Lord of the Skraelings (10,657), Matty23 (8,172), cowboyman (6,840), danknights (6,044) and packo (5,735).

We also gave people with thousands of posts on here who were admins and they no longer post here. I wonder if it is because they no longer support the Knights or they were unhappy with this forum? Does anyone know how Jekk is?

Sadly we know the much loved member 2299 has passed away. He had 8,034 posts with 2,100 reactions. I have just passed his reaction score. I still miss his sense of humour.

Thanks for that Lefty! :D

I reached out to rhugh late last year to encourage him to come back just as a regular member of the forum, but unfortunately he didn't reply. I assume he's ok though, he still posts on twitter now and then.

And Jekk is great, I'm in touch with her all the time! :) I've never asked her why she stopped posting, she still goes to every home game, but I don't think she has the passion to discuss it as much as she used to.

I have noticed a lot of Knights fans discus the Knights on facebook but the standard of discussion there is very low.

I have seen numerous posters criticising anyone who criticises the way the team is playing telling them they are not true fans if they criticise the team.

Thankfully on marathonstadium we can what we think about the way the team is performing.

Thanks for the stats Lefty.

If anything it's shown me that I've been a long time reader but not a frequent poster lol. I was curious so I checked out my stats,

2452 posts and a reaction score of 828 since joining in 2009.

I imagine people would get sick of me if I posted too much 😂

No way, love your posts Patty!

The reaction scores started in 2017 when we moved to the Xenforo forum software, so if you did a heap of posts before 2017, they won't have got any reactions.

Telling myself that's why mine is comparatively low when I've got the most posts. 😂

The more people post on here regularly the better.

Today is my 15 year anniversary of joining this forum. The only other members from then who post on here regularly are James and Billy but their post count and reaction scores dwarf mine.

marathonstadium is a great place to get information and rumours about the Knights and to discuss how the team is going and how hopefully we are building towards our third premiership.

How time flies.

Have always loved being able to come here and share thoughts with fellow Knights fans. I can safely say that 90% of the chat on here is better than the rabble in those Knights Facebook groups. Thankfully the dingbats have weeded themselves out of here over the years 😂
