Tets, Stig and Sa'u definately deserve their spots but there are just too many people ahead of him, so this is why I will go with this.

Teams are quite looking similar, the inclusion of a couple of different players and the occasion change around the 11, 12 and 13. Bench is a pretty much the same alot of the time except for numbers.

Unfortunately week in, week out theres going to be players of top quality wich are going to miss out. Maybe we should have another thread of our B team selections? Honestly i changed mine about 15 times.

Cheater! Your 18th man won't get counted. However I admire your bravery in choosing Stig. I just had to drop him because I forgot about Taia which meant Hilder got shoved to the bench and Stig had to be dropped. He's probably a victim of the new age.
 
I didn't expect Cuthbertson to get counted, just had to let him know that as coach he was definitely in my calculations! :lol:
 
Dunno how you can leave Tuimavave out Gould! our most consisten prop, and a fellow kiwi of yours. Although you do have kiwi/cook islander Tetevano in his place.

for me the biggest question mark is how will Bennett use our second rowers, and what will he do with 3 class centres?!!

That bench is impact personified.

I think the centre position will come down to who has rehab'd better from their injuries, Wes or Tahu?

Hilder to come off the bench after about 25-30 for Edwards. Edwards to come back on shortly after 1/2 time to replace Bedsy, Pushing Hilder to the 9. Bedsy to come back on for one of them with about 10-15 to go.

That looks pretty good to me. Bennetts going to have a few selection headaches at the start, hopefully he settles on a team pretty quick barring injuries of course.

I can understand the shafting of Mullen to an extent but our captain and best player since 2007 being thrown onto the bench for two unproven rookies?

Each to their own I guess.

Come on people, Costigan in prop before Tui? Really? Really? :think:

I believe Mullen needs to shift back to 5/8 too, he's not a halfback, He doesn't have that creating play ability, I reckon he's a ball runner More than anything. Gidley can create plays and see gaps though.

Gidley's the best utility in the game ... better than he is at fullback or in the halves. All his best games for NSW have come off the bench. He would create excellent impact off the bench, in whatever position you threw him into. There's no shame in that. As for the captaincy, he just whinges at the ref too much. I'd like the captain to focus on inspiring the other players.
 
I guess you have a fair point there, I wouldn't like to see it personally but im sure if he was put into that situation he would do a fine job. Bedsy and Joey whinged at the ref too, if not more than Gidley! Haha
