Pretty nice set up for an Uate try there, considering MacDougall has played on a season too long.

Hopefully Mata'utai or a youngster is in there next week.

Yeah good to see maddog back to his best I do think he played on 1 year too long but if he keeps that up il eat my words!! Cilrado was good too it was almost like maddog and ciraldo came on here and read all the hate before the game!!
 
He had his first good game, against the worst side in the comp. I'll eat my words when he plays like that for the rest of the season against better teams.

He got grilled a couple of games ago, but that's just cause he was a tad rusty.

But today the man delivered!

He only had one bad game that caused everyone to say he should retire haha.A try, an assist and a hattrick for his outside man. Not good enough, he should retire for sure haha.
 
Yeah I didn't bother mentioning that one as it was about four months ago and he was playing with the injury that kept him out for a while.
 
MacDougall had a good game today which was good to see, but to be fair Lulia's played well all season long when called upon, and he had another solid performance today playing out of position in the backrow, topped off by a great individual try aided by Mullen's nice short ball.

MacDougall deserves props for making it through the game injury free and for playing as well as he did given the limited amount of minutes he's played this year, but Lulia once again put in another solid performance, not to mention he was playing off the bench and out of position. He deserves major props also IMO.

I don't think anyone in here was bagging Lulia, I'm a massive fan of his. So gutted he's leaving because he's come into his own this year, and I think today was his best performance! Perhaps long term, second row is the spot for him? He created havoc running on the fringes today ... and unlike, for example, Houston, when he got the ball in space he knew exactly what to do with it, whether that be run or pass.

MacDougall, great game, one of the setup for Uate's tries was just bloody legendary, stuff of Midley. But to be fair Lulia put in a fantastic performance also. He is seriously a great reserve grade centre. Probably one of the best reserve graders out there in the game today!
 
The maddog of old was back today!! Lets hope he can continue to play like that for the rest of the year.
