A mate of mine from work was actually up the coast for the weekend and saw Ponga in town on Sunday but reckons he lives in an apartment now? I thought he was house mates with Watson or maybe he just brings girls up there which was our next guess lol.

someone else may be able to confirm @cowboyman perhaps, but im pretty sure i read tuala always played right side and it wasnt until covering for best that he actually played on the left.

I did see and read that article. Found it very odd as he was on the left a lot and on the end of Ponga’s passes in the juniors.

Jack Johns is an unusual signing. Seems like another Kurt Mann to me. Not sure of the rush for signings over the past period (suspect they’re all signed for cheap because we either have cap issues or we’re worried that we will).

Credit to Brown and Mooney for being patient which paid off more times than most when they were here. We now have 2 roster spots to fill. Hoping we take our time to see who becomes available over the silly season.
