Let's be honest its time for our team for 2021!

Not much on the market right now. However for next year I’d be going hard for the likes of Dale Finucane, Nathan Brown, Hudson Young. Even at a pinch look at players like Max King, Isaac Liu, Darren Schonig.
Feel like with Dale and brown they are at there peak and commanding top dollar, don't know if we could afford them, but young I feel like is very ideal. Local, young, talent, just needs time and coaching. Get one back for tapine

Players into the last 12 months are almost like being off contract. If you offer them a long term deal with good coin they’ll get their manager to ask for an early release

Or just sign for that club for the next season. Depending on the player and if they are on good coin or not already.

Someone like Clifford you’d think would of signed his reported 3 year offer from the Knights already if he was that keen on leaving the Cowboys.

I found it very surprising that he wanted to leave in the first place, I can only assume the Cows didn’t give him any assurances of his future there?

Now that it seems Payten has intervened and wants him there, I think he’ll stay. Gets back to the other point from the other thread, 3 doesn’t go into 2

I found it strange how Obi was happy to give everyone else a run at 5/8 except Crossland
Crossland had an operation after the season that no one has mentioned. We only know because one of those social media threads showed a photo of him in a recovery bed.
He had a groin injury that had him out for half of the pre season.
He wasn't kicking at all when he played.
My theory is that he never recovered from his groin injury and couldn't kick, which is the best part of his game, so he was no use at 5/8.

Phoenix suffered osteitis pubis early in the season and it is a condition which affects the pubis bone and can be difficult to treat and get rid of.

Maybe Billy they cleaned his groin up. There was a report on this in NRL Physio earlier this year before the season started.

I would guess rehab will now sort this out. One nof the problems of course with any groin injury is side stepping, running at full speed and kicking. All vital for a 5/8.

4 Spots to fill now.

With King signed and TRD and Lino released according to the latest update on the Knights site, the only player from the top 30 squad at the end of last season (promoted mid season) still in limbo is Chris Randall.
Croker and Huth might still be on the development list, but no word yet.

I would expect Randall to be signed as well because we lack depth in the hooker position.

It is a condition that you can recover from. The problem is the body attachment where it occurs. Its a time vs load issue.

There was an infamous article years ago that gave an injury update on Kangaroo players returning from a tour that went.
Mal Meninga - elbow strain - from using his elbow too much.
Brett Mullins - leg strain - from using his leg too much.
Ricky Stuart - groin strain - good tour Rick?

Yep that's you mozza.

Consider it like a high in the groin, including the pelvis, hammy where the tendon tears from the bone. Caused by overuse and over extension such as when kicking, side stepping etc.

Fair enough. When groins are being discussed and the terms body attachment and load are mentioned it sounds abit sus to me. It’s probably because I’m a pervert though.
