Dominic Young and Tyson Frizell added to the team profiles.
Young is listed as 198cm and 106 kg.
That makes him our equal tallest player with Klemmer, 2cm taller than Lee and 3 cm taller than the twins.

IF he works out to be as good as they say he is , he could be a beast at centre for us.
If you were a winger you would be happy to have a 6'5" 106kg centre inside you especially a fast talented centre too . People say he will need time in reserves first but im not so sure .
He has played reserves or whatever in the UK and had a taste of first grade i think he will be keen and raring to go .
Who knows he may and hopefully will demand a spot in the side , all good for us if he does .
 
Daniel Saifiti has been named at starting prop for NSW again.

Australia's first game in the 2021 WC will be against Fiji. My tip - DSaf starting prop for Aus - JSaf starting prop for Fiji.

Interesting that an article in the Herald seems to say our squad might be as small as 25.
Most sides have 28 or 29 signed for next year, with the Warriors having 30, and only Parra having less than us with 24.
I don't believe a squad of 25 would be enough.
I'd be surprised if any team has managed to only use 25 players in a season in recent times. Very few would use less than 30.

All teams have to have a minimum of 29 players signed by March. I’d say we’re just waiting to see what the salary cap will be and to see who becomes available to recruit over the off-season.
 
Club must have a lot of faith in a two game rookie. Big body but very unproven. Hopefully we have a reserve grade comp next year to warm up a few fellas.

He's just turned 19 years old in September.
He was 17 when he played in 2019.
He's a month younger than Bradman Best and 5 months younger than Simi Sasagi.

I like Tuala but his last few games let him down a bit, there's nothing wrong with throwing a 19 yr old into first grade if his preseason deserves it .
Tuala came here to play reserve grade and played most of the year in 1st grade , No reason Young cant do that.

Im not sure that being picked for first grade at 18 and touted as the best up and comer even in super league is unproven ...
 
I see Young as a winger.
We have 5 or 6 good centres. Even Hunt is a better centre than winger. Toa has always been a centre too.
Lee is our only genuine specialist winger.
I'm pretty sure O'Brien like a tall winger and is keen on Lee on one wing and having another tall winger on the other side would be his aim I think.
I don't see any path to firstgrade for Young as a centre, but all he needs is a good off season and I can see him getting a wing spot.
 
I can see them having Pearce kicking into a corner and Lee v Young aerial battles going on for most of the off season. If Young can win those battles, I can't see him being left out.
Young is an inch taller and a kilo heavier than Daniel Tupou, and we've seen from the highlight reels that he can run and has a great leap on him.
He is 2 inches and 2kg bigger than SKD as well.
 
The club said they are after a backrower /prop what about Hipgrave he has no contract for next season. I haven't seen much of him but he did seem to be a bit of a hitman in the couple games i did see .
He would probably come cheap although he had a season ending injury last season , im not sure what it was . He likes to defend and Obi-wan loves that.
