Knights Seek to Re-sign Seu Seu

Just took out a post here, construcive criticism of a player is one thing, but try not to just make it insults, thank you!

Position vacant at Roosters - hooker

THE departure of Craig Wing to South Sydney has already come back to haunt the Roosters, who are facing a crisis at hooker heading into the season-opener against their arch rivals on Friday night.

Roosters coach Brad Fittler admitted after injuries to several players he would wait until the last minute to decide who will fill the No.9 jumper - as Wing did with aplomb for several seasons at Bondi Junction - for the much-anticipated match at ANZ Stadium, Homebush Bay.

After learning of Wing's signing with Souths last year, the club secured James Aubusson from the Storm.

But the 22-year-old has struggled since two off-season groin operations and hasn't trained with first grade.

Fittler had been banking on youngster Rory Kostjasyn to fill the void but he suffered rib cartilage damage in the trial match loss to Parramatta in Gosford last weekend.

"It's unbelievable having this many injury problems before the start of the season," Fittler lamented. "Absolutely, it's a concern. [Utility] Setaimata Sa has done some work at hooker and can play there, and there's also [Knights recruit] Riley Brown. But we'll have to wait until right before kick-off to decide which way we'll go. I'm not really sure what we're going to do."

Under-20s hooker Jake Friend is considered a star of the future - and impressed when he came off the bench against the Eels - but Fittler will resist blooding the 18-year-old in a match as intense as the one looming against the Rabbitohs.

Sa, who can fill several positions, appears the most likely option, with Fittler revealing injured centre Iosia Soliola was certain to return from a knee injury after his comeback match for Roosters' feeder team Newtown against Central Charlestown on Saturday.

Maby Seu Seu?

Spewin, Sharks already have Isaac DeGois, Kevin Kingston and now Seu Seu.

Would've to see him go to a team that needs a hooker just to rub it in Burrastons face.

he's gone to Sharks ,lower grade

I dont think thats correct. I guarentee we would have gotten a link by now with all the publicity and a sharks forum Im on is one of the biggest and they dont even mention him at all.

well i thought that jim beam cup sides had no affiliation with the NRL sides, if there was a side attached to the sharks im guessing it would be the Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks lol.
