Knights rumoured targets for 2012

Just heard the commentators say Boyd's a good chance to go to Titans next year, Fatty reckons Searle is confident lol it was only a few days ago Boyd turned them down, I wonder if anything's changed or if they're just a bit behind on the news...
 
Boyd turned down the Titans, unless the Knights do not want him which doesn't seem as likely to me I highly doubt he will go there, now that the Titans have Idris. Their other backs would hardly use cap space, Campbell retiring and Friend is gone. There is also a bit of speculation Bird is interested in moving back to Sydney but his team have said that is not the case despite the what the Telegraph say. That would be a bit of space.
 
I dont think its about the money for Boyd. However if the Knights dont want to sign him, I think he'll follow the money.
 
9 just said the Titans are still a chance with Boyd, Vossy claims he spoke to Searle, hmmm. I also forgot to mention they are very keen on Champion. Apparently it seems like Tandy going there (as rumoured last night/this morning) is no chance. Myles is still so-so. But Stone seems confident Boyd is coming here also so I think its 80/20 of Boyd coming to the Knights.
 
Well I think the Boyd situation pretty much is his first choice is the Knights, and the reason why he wouldn't come here is if we turn him down, other than that i think it's settled.
 
Boyd wont be going to the titans, they wont be able to afford him how they have signed Idris.

Not that i think we need him, unless he is willing to play centre, but it will be either the Knights or back to the broncos.
 
Yeah if we're talking in terms of centre, we definately do need him. MacDougall is retiring so we need a preferably "big name" player to replace him there (that can also pass btw). It would be so awesome to have him there, him & Aku would look so good out there on the right side together. Anywhere else though, we definately don't need him, Gids is the FB, Henry is the FE & Aku & Jimmy are the wingers. It would be so much better than having Likiliki there who is still learning the game or Wes & Lulia who are fringe players.

They signed Idris on a 5 year deal plus apparently going after Beau Champion & set to sign him in a few days, very lucky if they can fit Boyd under the cap. Hopefully Boyd does come here though, our backline would be up there as one of the best in the league for sure.

For anyone who's interested Boyd will be on the pre game show tonight. I don't expect him to say much on his future but who knows, he might let something slip lol
 
Looks like Boyd's decision will be made this week afterall, finally we hear from him. Down to us and the Titans, Bennett or his grandmother. Knights are meeting with his management in the coming days and apparently we can easily fit him in under the cap (no surprise)

The more I think about it the more I want him at the club, maybe Tinkler can help him out with getting to the Gold Coast every so often to see his nan :)

I would be happy to sign Boyd and play him at fullback.

Move Gidley to hooker, get him in there playing a cameron smith style game.

Jarred Mullen & Henry as our halves.

In my opinion, that would be the ultimate combination.
 
Has anyone seen the current players off contract $$$ theyre worth could they post ones we possibly interested in im going through mine now
