That prop we got from Manly - can't remember his name - spent a lot of time volunteering at that hostel - wouldn't surprize me if he got Ramien a start at Manly. So how did he slip through the cracks?
That's him. Good guy who put in a lot of time helping young guys.Josh starling?
If Mitchell didn't slip through the cracks given our conversion rate at turning juniors into rep players he'd be playing for the Pumpkin Pickers now.
Tevita Pangai was a lazy sod.Mitchell is about the only one we lost that I’d defend us on. A 15 year old kid who’s lazy and has a sh*t attitude. What would it say about us if we accomodate that?

I used to enjoy watching the Canberra lower grade coaches pulling their hair out trying to get him to live up to his potential.
Always thought he could be great, but never thought he would be.
100% I know for a fact that roosters tried to throw a lot of money at a 15-16 year old Jarrod MullenDidn't Cordner get thrown a big contract from the Roosters as a very young junior?
we probaly never would have gone after pearce if mullen was still around. But how great would have it been to have pearce and mullen in the halves together would be best halves pairing in the comp IMO. Mullen would be a great running five-eight , great kicking game, great passing game and a strong defender.100% I know for a fact that roosters tried to throw a lot of money at a 15-16 year old Jarrod Mullen

If you remember, Mullen was set to start 2017 as a bench hooker, with Lamb at 6. The injuries, Brown's youth policy & quest for saving money had him out of favour, he was never going to be re-signed.
