Knights release Jesse Ramien

don’t forget that centre for Melbourne can’t even get a run at the moment can’t remember his name.

They've got plenty of quality outside backs. Might be Marion Seve you're thinking of? He's solid, as are the players in front of him (Curtis Scott, Chambers, Justin Olam - who has been picked this week).

Even fewer outside backs? Why? I’m starting to lose any faith that I had in Brown. He’s starting to enter Hagan territory now.

He and Brailey had a nice understanding going at the sharks, particularly close to the try line, i was looking forward to seeing that next year...for about 12 hours

Ramien's gone. Brown told him not to come back to Club.

I'm shaking my head.

Sure, he has failed to find great form this year, but I have no doubt he will move to a new club and kill it. What does that say? He was a gun before he came here!

Questions need to be asked, is the problem here 1 player not happy and moved on, or is this a wider club issue surrounding Brown and the way he manages his players.

Fact is the club has underperformed. Constant spine changes all season in practically every spine position except 7. Hooker rotation and he is never happy. Took Levi at a point where he was selected for NZ and dumped him to a long stint in reserves. Wanted a running 5/8 only to abandon that plan and go through a revolving 5/8 between Lino and Mann. Bench rotation seems off, team selections a puzzle - selecting Buhrer over Jsaf a recent example, dumping Jsaf back to reserves after he made it back to NRL and played well. 1 game Lino was warming up in the 6 jumper on field pre game, yet was dumped before the team ran out on to the field. This weeks selection of Watson at hooker for an apparent 80 minute stint and no replacement for him in the squad.

Our attack has been very 1 dimensional and we do not look like a structured outfit in attack. Often we get to the last with no clear option of what we will do and it gets shoveled to players who should not have it on the last, forced to take rubbish options. They do not look like a well coached side.

Listen here Kurriboy that's enough of being fair dinkum.

Just read the club statement and nearly swallowed my tongue.

Well on your bike Jesse, you'll go down with the Sims as most useless signing ever.

There are clearly issues with Brown's coaching, but Ramien can't blame Brown for his bad defence and that time when Ponga passed the ball to his chest with the line open and he dropped it.

I genuinely hope he is happy at his next club.

He’s looked sluggish since he got here and he’s definitely been carrying more around his guts. I put it down to he signed for unders initially and kicked up a stink. We have a direct replacement in Hunt, he carry’s the ball from our own end, hits a great line and is great defensively.... and is on bugger all busting his guts still after being told he won’t be resigned because the club probably thought Ramien would come good. The answer is pretty clear on who I’d sign if I was a coach. Good on the club.

Probably means very little but not once all year on Ramien's Instagram feed has there been a picture of him hanging with the team. Always his girl and daughter. That's great and he looks very happy but he might not get on with the playing group.
