Well what a win, The Trio looked very tired but the positives must go to our backs who helped out the forwards throughout the game!!!
Stars well i thought Kurt Gidley had a bumper of a game, Seage was good although he had his ups and downs, Riley Brown deadset the impact player for the club.

Score was 32-30 What a close one I was soooo freakin out with 15mins to go especially all those chances we blew!!!

Carney for PL. He played Ok but was caught up and in through many occasions!!!

Overall wat a win by our boys!!! Well Done!!!
 
Good win, dodgy defence can be excused given several players backing up. Carney was shocking, but he was heavily outnumbered a couple of times.

Riley Brown's stepping try was a beaut, but his Benji Marhsall flick pass for Carmont was a bit reckless, no way Carmont was expecting that one! Sure was a good decision Johns made to take the penalty - stupid commentators haha.
 
Quick mention to James who just notched up his 400th post well done!!!

Yep Carney got caught out three times with two being tries, Riley Brown Im not sure who made the comment bout him needing to be dropped but it was his best game by along shot today!!!

Kurt stood up setting up 3 tries, Quinn was good except for a few dodgy and critical mistakes, Newton was just copybook and Seage, well the poor bugger disclocated his finger at the start of the game and couldnt catch that comfortably but hung in there and scored a good try!!!

Im just glad tha one is over and in the bag!!!
 
I do think it's strange having Brown on the bench with Mullen there as well - I'd rather give that spot to a bigger forward - but I spose Brown won't be there once Perry and Tolar are back. Davico was good today!

I think Tolar is due back for round 11 as well, then Reynoldson for round 12. Wonder if Abraham will be back anytime soon - I read somewhere he's coming along pretty slowly, although he did start in premier league this week - hooray!!! Anyone see how he went?

Just a random thing - Big League didn't come into Dunedin this week, I hope they're still getting it in. It's a great mag, beats Rugby League Week any day!
 
great game it sure had me on the edge of my seat, i was getting a bit anxious towards the end. carneys defence was shocking though!!!! i am just glad we got the 2 points.

i have to agree with you james big league is way better than rlw, however i have a serious issue walking all the way up to paper plus to buy one :D :D

i just got big league like 10 mins ago...i havent actually read it yet, i only got it cos Joey's on the cover and theres also an article on Clint Newton which....when i get time.....should be a good read.

if you guys dont end up getting it and would like me to scan in that article then let me know

Well it wasn't there on Sunday, hopefully they are still getting it in. Since they only started this year and there always seems to be heaps unsold haha.
 
so does this mean that the isue with joey on the cover wont get in until next week? cos i really dont want to go up town everyday looking for it :D
 
I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know. Usually the new issue is there on Friday but it wasn't this time.

I'm always in town ... mainly to get Burger King haha.
 
Big League wasn't there today either, rats. But seabass you are saved the long journey into town at least! :D
