Knights confirm they are 1 of 6 in AAC'S report

I was keeping up with this thread for a while but nothing interesting was being posted in here so I stopped reading it and now there is 26 pages! Can anyone just basically give me the highlights so I don't have to read through 20 pages of crap

6 clubs were named in the report including us, 5 clubs have been cleared now apart from the Sharks. There was rumours 2 ex-Shark players at our club were in trouble and 10 Knights players all up or something but nothing has come out of it. Basically there's just been a whole heap of stupid rumours that are obviously false and not worth even mentioning again. All we know now is that the Knights have been cleared and there's 31 players who will be interviewed by ASADA over the next month to see if they confess to knowing of any illegal activity outside of the clubs.

So did Dave Smith actually say in the press conference that it was only the Sharks being investigated now?

He said; "ASADA has informed the NRL that aside from some well-documented concerns at Cronulla, its clear focus is now on whether individuals or groups of individuals, may have acted outside of club programs."

That says the other 5 clubs have been cleared of any wrongdoing - as a club. But obviously individuals from various clubs are still being asked to meet with ASADA to try and gather more information so who knows where that will lead but it's good to know that our club is no longer under investigation.

Just to add to the above posts during the press conference they also stated the interviewing process will take 4 -6 weeks so after that hopefully we have some more information and things become a little clearer.

If you can't be bothered reading it then please don't clog up the thread!

Oh well I was never worried about the club, still uncomfortable knowing our 2 guys are most likely still involved.

No. He said the focus was now on investigating individual players and apart from the problems already revealed at Cronulla, there was no further investigations into clubs.

The clubs should be fighting for compensation. Why the hell drag the other clubs named through the mud when you are only going to be interviewing certain individuals for things they suspect them of doing without the clubs knowledge... Its been an absolute disgrace how they have gone about this.

I'm getting more and more confident each day that the knights will have nothing to answer.. I can really only think us being linked is because of 2 ex sharks players

Even if they do decide they want to interview our ex sharks players it will be 2020 by the time they get through the sharks lol... Smith and Snowden will be well and truly retired by the time their number comes up!:crazy::crazy:

I really don't expect anyone from us or sharks in general unless it's a fringe player(from them) or something like that but either way i think were completely fine.
