Where are the CEOs of the other Clubs ? Surely supporters and sponsors are entitled to a statement. Either it's business as usual, no comment, something at least.
That sounds like bull****. We know it all goes back to Dank, not a player. From the 'NRL Banter' FB page:
"MASSIVE RUMOUR REGARDING DRUG SCANDAL(edited so no players named):
From a guy who works at fox sports:
Newcastle are next. Apparently seven players to be suspended. A former sharks player who plays for the knights will be exposed as the player who introduced drugs to sharks and A knights coaching member. Manly allegedly have 17 players still involved. Rumour has it they will be stripped of 2008 and 2011 premierships. A former manly legend has rolled over to ASADA. A current bulldogs coaching staff member apparently has been giving supplements to manly and Canterbury players knowingly. Sharks are just the first house of cards to tumble...
Note: these are all allegation may not be true"
Would love the Manly bit, not so much the Newcastle bit. I'd say its about a 10% chance of being true.

We're in trouble.
Unless Tinks has found some cash and wants to spring for some lawyers.
Also what's everyone's opinion on what should happen if it were the sports doctors and etc that were supplying the substances and the players were unaware of them being illegal. Ignorance is no excuse from the law but the treatment given to players can be sometimes absurd in terms of how complex they are. It'd be hard to keep track and learn what's happening.
Guys another reminder no matter how obvious some of these rumours might link to a player at the Knights let's not name player names! It's disrespectful and not fair at this point. Yes most know of the ex players that are at our club we don't need names being tossed.
Any post mentioning of names will be edited or deleted. ASADA aren't mentioning the names, Knights aren't mentioning them so nor should we.
Until more developments eventuate please obide.
This doesn't have anything to do with Newcastle?
Eight former Sharks - now at other clubs - are also in the spotlight.
If the Sharks players go down for what went on in 2011, and it's seeming more likely that will happen, then there's no reason to think that the Sharks players now at other clubs won't cop the same treatment.
Unless of course their new club(s) would prefer to fight it out in the courts, something the Sharks seem unwilling to do for some reason. (Probably as they're covering their backsides, seeing as they club was supplying the supplements).
If a player is being injected with something then it's their responsibility to know it's not an illegal drug.
Would you allow yourself to be injected with something having no idea what it was?
Didn't see that bit haha.
Well, fingers crossed it's none of our lot. I'd say players will accept the ban, accepting it and getting six months is a lot better than fighting it and being suspended for two years.
