from what ive seen we have lacked opportunity through errors. although my wife has banned me from watching the knights because apparently my daughter thats on the way can hear my swearing and anger from inside the womb. if she can understand what im saying then she knows why im angry that has been my defence. but like us last week my defence hasn't been going too good

I think its more like 8. None of which give us any real cap room. Gidley, Snowden,Boyd and incoming Scott all on 400k Mullen 300k. Thats almost half the cap on 5 players. Houston , Fa'aoso, Costigan, Hilder, Naiqama , Cuthbertson , Stig , Roberts and Tahu make about 1.5million. 14 players on about 3.5million. The caps like 4.4million isnt so thats 900k left and the said isnt even complete. Naiqama resigning for 300k was a joke hes a second teir player. Knights are stuffed till 2013

Gidley would be on very little under the cap having played at the club for 10 years and being the marquee player(at least I think he is?)
My theory is that he made the opposition fall into a false sense of security and it allowed the rest of the team to pounce.
You could argue he was the most valuable player in Knights history.
Would be a bad tactic in the NRL considering all sides have an ideantical salary cap!
He's actually looked pretty damn good for Penrith, from what I've seen.
Hope Paul Harrogan got him some good NIB health insurance deals because he sure as hell needs them more than everybody else.

I was only thinking today how Billy Slater is a freak. His Origin 1 was pretty quiet, but 1 thing with him is he never has 2 off days in a row. If Boyd could get 1 good day goin thatd be a nice start...

Buderus got concussed about twenty minutes in, which is why he was benched early, too. It was noticable he wasn't himself when he came back.

i just watched the game from last week and i thought that snowden didnt play too badly actually
Despite the miss tackle, it was his best game in over a month I thought.
