Kalyn Ponga discussion

Has anyone listened to this yet? Anything good to report?
Nah was pretty average, said hamstring is abit trickier as its the tendon , not travelling with team on away trips just rehabing in newcastle, said his maturing as a person and made mention of how happy he is at the knights. Its a tough listen because it seems a terrible podcast.

Is that the one where there’s like 15 hosts? Saw a clip on Insta and I don’t see how having podcast with that many hosts can work, the guest wouldn’t get a word in
Yeh this was a tough listen.
No real take away from Ponga other than what’s been mentioned.

Tendon hamstring injury. The usual PR stuff about origin/NZ.

I was a little curious about the jokes/“no comments” surrounding Watson. But I don’t think he’d be a chance to come back, not now.

Just watched it. He practically keeps saying he’s so happy here with coaches and players and never been happier and was “just vibing in those first two games, it felt so damn good”.

I beyond can’t wait to see this team get him back and I prey at full health and full rest of season. Really could be anything if injuries **** off cor everyone rest of season.

Yeah I think this team has shown enough that we will be a tough beat for anyone when we’re fully healthy. I could have seen us battling for top 4 if we were even slightly more healthy.

I think the top four will be Panthers, Warriors, Tigers, Roosters in some order. Would have said Broncos on what we’ve seen but they are in huge trouble injury wise now.

I think we would absolutely be in the mix for a home final but over the full 24 games the field position advantage those four teams I named above get to enjoy most weeks will tell.

Still think Panthers Roosters grand final, the interesting wrinkle this season is I have Tigers pegged as a straight sets exit team and I don’t trust the Wahs in big games either. It’s a serious bottle job if they can’t get top four with how much go forward they have though.

1 Panthers - 19+ wins
2 Roosters 17-18 wins
3,4 Warriors Tigers both 16 wins

I think with our ability to score points, between 12-15 wins is a reasonable range of outcomes and that would represent a very successful season. We need to get a run with most of our key guys fit though.
