Kalyn Ponga discussion

The Qld pack did not perform at all well putting increased pressure on the backs.

Napa and Wallace will be lucky to hold their spots.
 
Walters made a point of commenting on Ponga's first kick off being very poor and putting QLD on the back foot from the start.
Not the best kick off but clutching at straws in my opinion!
The coach whisperer will earn his coin over the next 2 weeks!:angry:

He has been okay in club form for the Titans the past month but probably not worth the price he’s being paid at the moment.
Let’s just say I’d rather have blokes like the Saifitis and Gavet in the engines room

But he reminds me of blokes like Willie Mason and Brent Kite at Origin level who never really lived up to any great heights but were very good club players in their prime

Talking about Musgrove's haircut.
He must have got a new do to make him look tougher for his move to the forwards.
The 3rd guy is Dylan Lucas - a 5/8/centre who joined us from Illawarra for under 20s this year and has been on the bench for NSW cup the last few games.

And here's poor me more worried about their footie ability than their hair cuts. Maybe this is because I have none worth worrying about! Hair that is footie ability long lapsed.

I look at most of the stuff they put out because there are often gems amongst the dross, but this is one I didn't look at till someone asked who the players were.
I think the new publicity team this year are getting a lot of information out there.
I often think they must read this forum because a lot of the stuff they put up seems to be answering questions raised by posters here - or maybe it's just co-incidence and they are answering questions being raised everywhere.

Lol what’s the prob lord? You don’t like it or think it’s babyish...don’t watch it. I listen to the podcasts as well coz I’m driving around all day, better than listening to some repetitive bs on the radio.

Musgrove's hair and porn star mo does look pretty bad though, or maybe that's just the old man in me talking.
Probably better than Searle taking time out during games to re do his man bun.
 
I might be abit melodramatic but Ponga seriously deserves better than us. Would you hold anything against Kalyn if he wanted to play for a team that is an actual premiership threat?
 
Yes and no.

You may be being a bit melodramatic. We took a gamble on a kid, kid owes us a bit in return. All fair.

Kalyn's a franchise player though, as much as I hate using Americanisms. He's our face and our future.

If we keep dishing up this dross though, I couldn't blame the kid for leaving at the end of his deal.
 
It'll shorten his career by a couple of years trying to carry this basket case. On another Ponga matter. Am I the only one who seen the Tigers head smash into the ground ?
