Five members of the Canberra Raiders’ Holden Cup team are among the seven players today added to the Junior Kangaroos’ train-on squad ahead of their match against the Junior Kiwis on Sunday, October 13, at WIN Jubilee Oval at Kogarah, in Sydney.

Raiders Holden Cup captain Mitch Cornish, fellow Holden Cup Team of the Year member Jack Ahearn, Patrick Mago, Luke Bateman and Tahakilu Pangai were today included in the squad alongside Bulldogs duo Moses Mbye and Lloyd Perrett.

The Junior Kangaroos will assemble in camp in Wollongong later today. The Holden Kangaroos will hold an open training session from 1pm at WIN Jubilee Oval ahead of the start of the Junior Kangaroos-Junior Kiwis match at 2.30pm.

Toutai should count himself lucky to be in the side. Alot better wingers then him in the comp.

Can't complain with the rest of the squad though. All deserved selection.
 
Nine Warriors in Junior Kiwis squad

Eleven players involved in the Holden Cup Grand Final have been selected in the Junior Kiwis squad to play the Junior Kangaroos in Sydney on Sunday.

The squad features nine players from the Junior Warriors and two from the grand final-winning Penrith Panthers under-20s side, plus several others with experience in the NSW Cup.

"I am really looking forward to bringing this group together; they have great skills and experience and should be very competitive against Australia," Junior Kiwis coach Brent Gemmell said.

"A number of players have missed out, simply because of the growing depth at this level, and many of them will still be eligible for the Junior Kiwis again next year."

I see we have a Knight in the Juniour Kiwis not that we would know it on the official knight website with only two lines in a article about the Kiwis, headline Smith unavailable for Kiwis, dissapointed that they would have a story on leilua and his court appearance but could not be bothered with the achivements of a young and upcoming knight are they not aware that the young players are their future and they have to look after and encourage them aswill, does anyone know how long he contracted to club? represent Joseph Tapine :drool:
 
It's weird, considering they televise the origin under 20s game. They always show these when they're on in nz, but never when they're in Aus.
 
Thought it would of been a close game with the additions of the Warriors and Panthers players for the Kiwi's and luckily so because the players named in the train on squad before them were shocking.
 
Sounds like it was a great game, with NZ holding a sizeable lead for a lot of the game before getting run down in the final twenty. 32 degrees I heard, so the high scoreline doesn't surprise.
 
20-10 half time in favour of the kiwis. DWZ apparently scored 2 50m+ tries while setting up another. This kid is going to be just as good as Milford when he hits FG
