Junior finals day 13/4/2024 and 20/4/2024

I don't know if McKewn is our best player or our worst.
She could have scored 4 tries if not for the errors.

3rd placed Knights v 6th placed Steelers in Ball.

The strongest side we have fielded all season.
I'm a little bit worried about no backup hooker, although Smith went full minutes last game and has had 2 more weeks training to shake off whatever his injury was. I think Aoake has played halves and a bit of hooker in the past, although I could be thinking of his brother.

Helluva game. Both teams have some real talent. Well done gilrs stoked for them both to go through next weekend.

I'd be more worried if the errors were coming in defence rather than handling errors. Maybe a different conversation if we fell short but in the end we don't win that game without her.

Knights 0 - 4 Steelers
Soft try - their winger ran 30 without anyone even trying to get over in cover.

I am here at the game. Cody Hopwood knocked out in making first tackle from kick off after Steelers try,

10 - 4
  • Sosaia Latu 13'
  • Sosaia Latu 17'
Slick work from Votano in that one - and a few others - Votano slots the kick from the sideline

Good work from Loza to give Jack Hilliar a one on one chance to score under the posts
16 - 4
  • Sosaia Latu 13'
  • Sosaia Latu 17'
  • Jack Hilliar 22'

26 - 4
  • Sosaia Latu 13'
  • Sosaia Latu 17'
  • Jack Hilliar 22'
  • Jermaine McEwen 25'
  • Malachi Smith 29'

We've had a glut of possession in that Half. Great we made them pay for it. Being SG Ball, better be prepared for that to turn around in second half and defend strongly.

26 - 4 at halftime

Votano has 3 from 5 - the 2 he missed were from near the sideline and both were close.
