Joel Edwards talks new deal with Knights

I think there is room for edwards in our top 25. Whether he deserves to be in the 17 is another question. I dont think other clubs would have him on heir radar so should get him pretty cheap.
 
He was playing prop by the looks of it, impressive perfromance by him and Mckinnon.

According to the stats they both mate around 10 hitups for a tick under 100m. Some more explosive hitups from Edwards too which was good to see, and the shoulder seemed to stick in a few tackles more consistently than any game this season.
 
Thought our forwards were really good tonight.

McKinnon and Edwards had some really good hitups and were lining up blokes in defence.

Taia and House easily our best. They were awesome.

Costigan showed some really good stuff too and it wasn't just the try he set up and the try he scored, either.

Mason had some good early charges. I wouldn't have a problem seeing him start next week.

The only forward that I didn't think added much punch up the middle was Tui. Good solid prop to have in your feeder club in case of an injury, but we need something more. Richie has to be back next week, surely.

McKinnon will fill out by this time next year and be a prop. He has the heart of a prop already and him and Eddy just love to hunt as a pack. He will be at least 5kg bigger after next off season.

Rochow is a late developer.
When he played Ball for us he was a centre, and he was a smallish second rower for Melbourne at first.
Even last year he started the year as a second rower and was just over 100kg I think.
I'd say he is taller and about 7kg heavier than he was a year ago, and he only started playing prop at the end of last season and was injured for the early rounds for us, so i'd say he has only played about 10 games as a prop.
I think he is getting better every game and could challenge for a firstgrade prop spot by mid season.
