Jackson Hastings discussion

He will play the Sharks I reckon, but probably not the Rabbits. Great news, it seems our injury luck has turned. Anyone know if Best is back this week?

Yep who ever they have got in for strength and conditioning is doing well Tuala looking strong and Best looking trim and fit.

Was in the middle of the park too, ran straight over the top of him.

Sign of a quality team. Ready made replacements can slot in and do a job. Tuala is a good squad player. Smart to re-sign him.
 
Hastings basically has the same injury as Frizzel.
Hastings probably felt a lot more pain because of all his scar tissue from previous operations.
I read some article a few years ago about how Frizz will set alarms and get up every 4 hours during the night to do treatments for muscle injuries, and you just know that Frizz is in zero doubt. Even if he still has a slight sprain on game day, he'll suck it up and play.
Hastings has also probably had varying degrees of pain from that ankle all season. I expect him to go very close to playing, but O'Brien might do what he did with Best and pull the plug for the good of the team, preferring a fully fit Clune to a half fit Hastings.

That's a good interview.
The webpage seems to say it was yesterday, but the content sounds like 2 or 3 weeks ago.
Good that he thinks he'll be out of the moonboot soon and is already doing some training.
He has a high opinion of KPP and has played with him, so that will make it easier for him to fit in.
Funny hearing he saw the rubbish about Pheonix on social media and has a big opinion of him. I always like to think the players wouldn't bother with social media, but I suppose some of them read it.
He is probably being too optimistic re his recovery, but nice to hear he thinks he'll be back pretty quick.
 
Just had a listen to Jacksons interview, biggest thing I took from it was it seems that we have had a real culture shift, lets hope we have a good 2024 so we can continue to lay the foundations and not just making the finals is a good result, but we are aiming to have a tilt at the trophy!

Having previously worked in service for 15 odd years, I can relate to that worn out just shoot me look when you've copped a gobful for the 40th time that day.

Can't believe they put players through that lol.

I actually think that is a great idea GPJ....

We should have had the Sims brothers manning the Knights membership phones during their time here. They would have been experts...they were only phoning it in on the field anyway through that era
