Mullo is doing a great job as captain in my opinion, he seems to have lifted from it.

I'd love to have Tahu back in but Leilua is playing well at the moment.

Gower looked good when running the ball, put him at half, Tyrone has had long enough.

Clydsdale is our young spark.

Bedsy could have returned this week, so he should be right to start in 2 weeks time.

I'd give Korbin a go at bench backrower, he's versatile enough & bring on Toka into the front row rotation because Houston & Costigan are average.
 
Tahu and Mataútia both had blinders in nsw cup
Toka had another good game and outplayed Burgess (just)

Pete now has 10 tries in about as many games after his late start to the season and poor form in his first few games. Today he was faultless at fullback and scored two really smart tries.

Can't argue with that 17 Josh.

Roberts is good for some individual brilliance with his dummy and footwork, but he's not an organising halfback that can steady the ship like Gower. Having Gower at 7 would help Mullen's game a lot, too.

I can't wait to see Bedsy back and I hope Clydsdale gets a run - He's going to be a star.

With all our seniors having a bye next week, if I were Bennett I'd make them play a game against each other.
I reckon it would be a cracker, and it would sort out a few things.
 
I must say ive been impressed with Roberts kicks in the last 2 weeks, although only a few, still some good signs.
seeing Gower kick from dummy half and finding touch brang a smile to my face :D

Gagai kicked some in the under 20s when he was required as well.
Roberts is a bit hot and cold with the boot anyway.
 
True, he's been hot recently though...
On another note, think BJ or Tahu could play SR.? Until McKinnon comes back. Tahu done it for The All Stars match...

K. Sims has been quiet last 2 games... Could be a thought with Toks at Prop...
 
I wouldn't be against Tahu playing second row. We need someone who can poke their heads through the line and provide some offloads. Tahu could be the man.
 
Bring in Toka. He gets accused of being an average defender but I haven't seen it, he's made a stack of try savers on fellow big men on the line and he gets through alot of work. The only thing I would say he needs work on is his speed around the ruck and getting back on side, he finds himself off side a bit after a making a tackle I've noticed but other than that he's one of the most destructive ball runners I've seen, he has good footwork and he's gigantic. He's playing big minutes as it is, surely he could have one or two 10-15 minute spells and give Sims more minutes.

Tyrone really needs to get some consistent form going. Before the knights 4 losses, I reckon Roberts was playing brilliantly, but now has started to drop down in form a bit.

IMO Roberts is not a below par half he is just a young guy still learning and he gave an interview the other week where he said he was told to take a back seat to mullen .....and how long has it taken Mullen to start playing consistently bloody years .

Where was that interview? That's what I said on here I thought was probably the case a week or two ago ... since then the Roberts haters have hit fever pitch.

I don't see Bennett dropping him anytime soon.
