Almost gutted out an upset. Maybe a different result with even one of McEwen or Finau out there, just had nothing in attack. Halves were pretty ordinary it must be said.

Kukutai is ready for firstgrade.
She only had a few short breaks I think.
18 year old middles Montgomery and Ahsam outplayed Carter IMO - looks good for the future.

That last 10mins was classic how to lose a grand final football.
The stuff up at dummy half to allow Boatrocks to jump on a play the ball with 3 Knights standing around,then The marker defenders hardly moving and that miss by Carter on the line was terrible

But when missing possibly 3 of the best players In McEwen,Finau and Jones still a fair effort but that won’t be remembered in the history books
 
Knights have played 6 grandfinals in Tarsha Gale and Reserve Grade in 6 years.
We are 0 - 6.
 
There is a NSW cup trial starting soon - basically Lower Hunter V upper Hunter, so should be Knghts on bth sides.

the side in the newcastle miners strip is way better than the other side, and Jefferies is running around in trainers gear giving them real time feedback. Sadly, I can't recognise anyone, but they do look slick and fit.

Pretty sure it was a whole different squad in the second half in a different strip.

A lot of impressive players in training.
 
There is a trial match on Sat 7th at 11 am at the centre of excellence - Knights v Central Coast - It's on Bartv.
 
Quarter time in the trial.
No commentary and no team list.
Aylah McCulloch and Tayla Predebon are the only 2 I recognise.
Predebon looks the fittest she has ever been and is making a lot of massive runs. She was held up over the line at least once.
McCulloch seems to be playing hooker - another new position for her.
Knights are up 3 tries to 0 at quarter time and are dominating.
 
Jules Kirkpatrick is 4 playing lock, very strong and aggressive in attack and D

Grace Giampino was number 21 I think in first quarter, she was very very strong in her runs.

Number 3 is having a blinder with great speed and strength on the edge, looks a real footy player. Could be Belcher but I'm unsure, She's blonde so isn't Tess Staines
 
Halftime - Knights up 4 tries to 0

Predebon sat out the second quarter and Roosters got back in the game a bit, but still not really threatening.

Our number 3, a tall athletic outside back, has score 3 of our 4 tries. The last one was a very good solo effort - she made a line break and was too fast to be run down over 60 metres.

Yeah they're pretty terrible. No much of an opposition, Predabon should be dominating them and she is thankfully.

Grace back out there very strong again, she's be great as abench forward this yr.

Lucy Green doing solid work at 7, nothing spectacular but solid. McCullouch looks to not have played 6 yet, which is odd considering how good she was in TG
