The Grandfinal was the game that stirred the emotions the most, but I went for the Penrith and Warriors finals - which were the games we played best and won and against massive odds IMO.

I went with the Panthers game simply because we were down by 2 scores with 12 men and shut them out and won in the 2H (even with the Cleary injury) but there are no wrong answers.

I went Prelim and GF too. The sheer euphoria of Sandon's intercept try is like nothing I've ever experienced in my life, following that with being up 12-0 just before half-time and thinking holy smokes we're actually going to do it in the GF. By far the best fortnight of rugby league I've ever experienced

I still get goosebumps thinking about that intercept

The Panthers prelim and the GF for me. Just the sheer effort of hanging in there and giving us such an epic finals series. Absolutely devo about the GF loss, but knowing how much we’re building, especially with so many players missing, makes me pretty bloody happy about where we’re heading.

Round 1 also stands out. That was the moment it dawned on me that we actually looked good under a new coach, and maybe, just maybe, things were finally on the up again. ❤️💙

Prem hands down. Would pick again blind drunk. The realisation of making the grand final was beyond words. And how we did it with the SANDON intercept and 12 men was insane. Only bias is that I was at the game so the emotion is higher naturally

It would be interesting to do another poll of the ‘game’ that made you think hang on, are we good potential deep finals wins or are we AOB good?😂

R2 Manly for me, I was ecstatic and thought yep we’re a good team. Wooden spoon was an outlier

It was the round 9 Souths game for me. Yes, defence went out the window, but Souths were flying high at the time, we took them on and went blow for blow, snagged the late try to win it, which I don’t think we’d have done in previous seasons, and then clung on through sheer desperation in the final seconds.

It wasn’t just a win against good opposition though, that game had a finals atmosphere and intensity. I thought that performance really stood us in good stead for the back end of the season.

I voted for the Prelim. We played our guts out in that game, while I feel the players were a bit spent by the time the 2nd half of the GF came about, so it wasn't, for me, their greatest game.

Plus we lost.
I simply can't have a game we lose to the Roosters as being our greatest game!

Haha fair!

After last year, and with my concerns about our depth in the forwards, I was realistically just hoping we’d make the finals and maybe jag a win. I genuinely never thought we’d make it all the way to the Grand Final. Even now, I still can’t quite believe we got there, to be frank. As disappointing as the result was, we exceeded every expectation I had going into the season.

Prelim is the best Knights game I've ever been at and our best win in decades. The stadium was unreal. It was better than any home game that I've attended in the last 20 years. The crowd was insane. 35k+ Knights fans all cheering the team home.

I was a little disappointed with the GF crowd, sure we didn't dominate the fan % as much as the previous game, but I think our fans got very nervous having our team in the big game. Very different atmosphere. Any time a chant started it died real quick. Maybe it was partly due to how much we were getting dominated, too.

I still picked that as my second though... losing only by 1 under those circumstances, Manu and Pongas tries were right in front of me and will be forever memories... until I hopefully replace them with GF winning tries in the near future.

I was at both of these games as well and agree 100% - unfortunately for the GF we were at the opposite end from those 2 tries, it was 90% Rorters fans and could hardly hear the Knights fans at all

Likewise. They scored right in front of me too, and, like you, I'll treasure those memories. Not sure about you, but I have the privilege of having been there at the SFS for the 1997 GF, and Alby scored that try, not directly in front of me, but in front of me nonetheless ... and that will forever be a priceless memory. I so wish I get to get more of those kind of memories, and that all these Knights supporters that never got to experience that will get to finally get those memories themselves.
