Call me nuts, but NSW played their best football when Gids went to playmaker, which eventually lead to Hayne's 2nd try.

Hayne has definitely got to be NSW's player of the series. 2 crucial intercepts, 2 brilliant tries and chased down Folau to save another.

Hayne IMO should be the Blues Man of the Series.
 
Gidley,Barrett,Hayne,Stewart and Watmough were all good only Wallace,Farah and Kite disappointed
 
Wolfman is a myth! Useless.. who the hell kicks on the first like that? Not to mention the drop balls. Skrew this, bring on the Knights!
 
next game willl be barrett at 7 and mullen at 6. barrett played quite well tonight despite not standing out. but what can you expect with most possession being in our half of the field. morris did nothing to justify his spot, creagh and williams were consistent....in being error-riddled. hayne was brilliant and tried his heart out and gids was good but nothing special either.
 
**** No Mullen in game three, why would knights fans wanna risk him in a dead rubber, and have to miss a knights game too? Shouldnt even really play these games, putting players at risk for no reason, and the clubs loose out big time.
 
Woah very disappointing, i thought they'd actually win this one. Oh well but i gotta give them credit for coming back. It's unfortunant that they couldn't get enough points on the board.
 
the only players who should be selected in game 3 should be gidley, hayne and gallen the rest bring it a side for the next year! my god that was ridiculous grrrr
 
Bellamy needs to go, he is a pathetic origin coach.
Barret should not have been picked. Either way there was nothing in the tackle against Inglis and it should not have been on report.
Wallace needed to be stood down after game one.
Farrah is a joke.
Williams should not have been picked.
Morris did nothing to show his worth at origin level i don't care that he was on debut.
O'donnell what was he thinking dropping the ball on the line, gather it and hold on, who cares if it was a drop out. We'd still have a chance at a try.
Gallen, whos that again???

Gidley and Hayne were the only decent players out there for NSW.

Personally i think the blues could have won it if it wasn't for some dubious calls against them. But again it came down to inexperience and to many errors. Lets hope they survive a whitewash and win game 3 and **** all the rubbish outta the NSW team for it and the future.

Dubious calls against NSW? To be honest, I reckon we had pretty good luck with the major calls, such as the no try to Harrison and the try awarded to Hayne. O'Donnell (I think it was him at least) blatantly was grabbing at Folau.. Sure, he probably wouldn't have had any chance of stopping Hayne, but it was almost exactly the same as the no try ruling against the Titan's in the last few minutes against the Knights a month or so ago.

Morris was hardly given a enough time to 'show his worth'. I don't think Williams is a bad player, but he had a shocking debut.
 
Want dubious, look at the poor pass from Farah that went straight to Lockyer.

Look at Poore & Farah's p*ss weak attempt at stopping Folau in that tackle.

Those two plays was where it was lost.

Dubious disgraceful school boy errors.
 
I think we got pretty lucky with the calls as well. The Qld no try ruling against Harrison was wrong, and O'Donnell should definately have been penalised for Hayne's second try. Not to mention a couple of sloppy play the balls which should been called knock ons against us. We definately got lucky with some of the calls, otherwise the scoreline wouldve looked a thousand times worse.

The kick on the first is one of the dumbest things i have ever seen, as for the drop balls not enough credit is going to Willie Tonga for 2 ripper tackles Williams did have a good hold of the ball tucked up under the arm but the quality of the tackles made it look bad for Williams forcing the ball loose.

Yep, looking at the replays of those things after the game, they were both wrong calls, and it should have been a 12 point turn around to Queensland.

I have seen a couple of people on here saying NSW looked better in attack and didn't get the chances Queensland did to score ... whatever, they made stupid errors all the time. They had the majority of the territory in the second half and could only come up with one try. Queensland make so few errors, that is why they are so hard to beat. Plus their defence is amazing, and they make the most of their opportunities.

They were lightyears ahead in game 2.
