Yea I'm getting one, I always get the Sunday papers anyway so makes no difference really :lol:

Will be interesting to see what they say about all the teams.
 
Also, next weekend the Saturday Daily and Sunday Telegraphs have the preview DVDs with them as well.

If you're up for paying - the Big League preview is out this week as well.
 
The Big League preview is usually the best preview of the lot. Really good read.
 
I love the footy guides, they have like the average age & average games played & predictions & the jerseys they will be wearing this year & the Strengths & Weaknesses of every team!!! There great, about the only books i like to read.

They are. I've got it in my shopping list for next week - it'll be rather squishy because of my brothers' 18th, but I think I can have some me time reading it...probably on the loo. :P

Another interesting book is that player profiles book for $9.95, i havent got it this yr but i got it last yr and it was good. I had a quick look in the newsagent the other day at the 2008 one and its got all the player portraits, including the NYC players.

With the sun-herald guide i wonder if it has our top 25 players in that, if so they are:

Yeah, I got that one. It is usally pretty good, but it will be really handy this year with the NYC players!
 
The free footy guide was pretty pathetic, the people didn't do their research properly that's for sure.

It wasn't too bad, I noticed they had last years jerseys for some of the teams, including us. Bad form indeed!

Yeah defiantly hope we prove him wrong but i reckon hes about right. I been thinking for a while now we'll be in the 8 - 13 group of the ladder.

I started doing something like that for the Knights this year because I was bored, minus the portraits though, but I stopped because didn't know who Jacob Ling and someone else was.
 
Actually the Newcastle herald do a complete knights book free when you buy the herald

so should be coming out soon within the newxt week or so

It's a good read with all the stats etc
