Francis Manuleleua thread

Fellow vegan! Who'd have thunk? I can't say much about the KFC spices, but this stuff is the best chicken approximation going in my opinion. If you can find the spices, this would be more akin to KFC than deep-fried tofu. Good protein to calorie ratio too!
Not vegan but don't eat meat, love that I'm not alone. The burger dude on YouTube does a ton of fried tofu recipes similar to KFC that's killer

Not vegan, but if you have a basic understanding of philosophical reasoning and informal logic as a vegan - you essentially make up for the animals you’re not paying for the slaughter of by slaughtering your interlocutors. I’m not vegan simply because meat and animal products are delicious and convenient 🤷🏽‍♂️ I’d never attempt to ethically justify it.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand - do we have any idea of how bad the injury is?
An uncomplicated dislocation (without a fracture or significant connective tissue damage) is usually 3-6 weeks on the sideline. So his year is over, but hoping for a speedy recovery and a big pre-season for Frisco.

I feel like we have taken the Penrith - Yeo approach.
Seems unlikely, but we won’t rule him out, just yet.

I think I read somewhere there was no significant damage to ligaments and no associated fractures - the things that require it to have surgery. So ligaments probably just stretched - recovery will likely depend on how well they bounce back.

Risk is re injury, and usually it’s worse.

There’s only so much time to get it right, but these guys can practically spend 8 hours a day getting physio treatments so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him given a crack at proving his fitness. I think he will be named - and possibly a late withdrawal. Worth giving him all the time to get there.

nrl physio mentioned there have been instances of a 1-2 week return with heavy strapping in circumstances without a fracture, but usual timeline is still in that 3-6 week timeframe.

Firstly no fracture a positive sign. They will do everything to rehab and leave it till last minute to make a decision. I’m sure he will be named in the 22 next week. Hopefully we have a Sunday game.

The back-rower dislocated his elbow against the Warriors, but scans revealed "no major structural damage".

"There's no fractures," James added. "He's going to enter an intensive rehab program, with a view to playing in the finals series."

Nothing about Mooney in the article? Hopefully means was just precautionary and he is fine

Question for those who know, Is Francis a better passer to his left or right? A lot of talk on here about McEwen moving to the middle and Francis moving to the right, but McEwen has a great pass on him and I dont want to lose that in the future when Gags moves on. In saying that Francis is waaaay to good to not be in the team week to week.

Yeah, to his left and so smart with it. I'd be shifting Lucas, his skills are transferable.
