They may do, although they have a tough run to the finals. If they became consistent they would be up there with the Storm or even better.

I mean, back from about 2003 - 2009 the media loved Anasta, won five most overrated player awards too. I was just pointing out the similarities between him and Marshall as far as being talked up too much by the media, not their fault neccesarily that they have that much pressure placed on them.

Yeah, I don't know many people either that do rate Braith anymore, even a lot of his own fans hate him! I don't mind him though, very nice bloke and sociable with the fans, the Roosters have been better with him at 5/8th this season IMO, certainly put in better performances.

You do know they are coming 13th and have only won 6 matches right?
 
It's a big stretch to compare Anasta and Marshall in any way! :lol: Marshall has won gfs, four nations and world cups, and won a golden boot. Anasta has got ... one premiership, with an illegally assembled side, at that.

I don't recall Anasta ever being talked up very much by the media? If he was then why wasn't there outrage that he barely ever made a rep side? All I remember is people complaining when he was selected for NSW a few times!
 
I don't see why we can't jump Warriors, they 2 points ahead, we verse them (which we probably will lose) but we play bunnies broncos and raiders at home, they play Dragons Cowboys and Brisbane with only Cowboys at home, and with Thurston most likely back

Anasta has played for NSW and Australia too. Anyway that's besides the point, I was just making a simple comparison between the two about how they have been a victim of high media exposure.

Yeah I realise, was just stating that IMO they have looked much better this year with him at 5/8 compared to Carney.

the only way we'd play wests, or the warriors for that matter is in the GF. unless something dramatic happens and we finish 5th and 6th, or teams 6 to 8 win in week one. Assuming I have the McIntre downpat

provided the Knights, Warriors and Tigers are any 3 of 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th..

If the Knights Finish 5th or 6th, and 7th and 8th lose, and one and only one out of 5th or 6th win, then 5th plays 6th in the semi-final

Similary if both 3rd and 4th win and either 1st or 2nd (but not both) lose and the knights are 5th their would play the 7th or 8th ranked team that won. That also works in reverse.

If 3rd and 4th win, and the knights are either 7th or 8th and win, but the other team that is 8th or 7th (depending on where the knights are) lose, then the knights play 5th.

They are the 3 ways that the knights can play the Warriors or Tigers, or infact any team that finishes 5th-8th in the 2nd week of the finals. .

The other way, is if 5th or 6th get the week off, so could play 7th or 8th in the Preliminary finals. Very unlikely scenerio 6th, 7th and 8th all winning in week one though.

If we could snag a win against them in our home match against them in a few weeks, it could be a good confidence booster for a finals match against them, too.

Since 2002 the Warriors have made a GF and made two GF qualifiers ... a lot better record than the Knights, who have done none of those things in that time. :-/

In a positive way I'm guessing Matty was using sarcasm... Because I honestly think we are no chance for the GF.
