Knights fans absolutely carried this. In the last two Panthers prelims at Accor in 23 and 24 against Melbourne and Cronulla they only mustered up 33k and 35k.

Wow.

I've been sitting in all the postings on social media and rewatching videos and photos taken from the day.

In all my life I can say I've never experienced a day like today, this was the game we should not win, the game we could not win.

Yet, here I am posting after we DID.

This team could be anything, 25 years in the making - regardless of what happens next week we have gone above and beyond everything the Rugby League world expected of us, I'm sure I wasn't the only one getting emotional at fulltime tonight.

I’m flagging now. Don’t drink much these days but after smashing 8 cans at the game and a bottle of wine since getting home I’m done. I’ve gone into Insta for just the second time this year and have loved a million videos taken at the game. Plus one of some random dude putting a Thomas The Tank Engine box on his head and running up a train track. The algorithm has got me on some strange **** that I just love to watch.

Being the owner of my business I have rightfully given myself the ****ing morning off!!

I didn’t see the crowd number but on TV and by the sound of the crowd it looked like a Knights home game. The split had to have been 80/20 at best. That’s shocking from Panthers fans, given they lost a prelim last year

Unbiased take, as someone sitting on the half way: I reckon it would have been like a 70-30 split. We were definitely ****ing louder no matter what though.
