Finals Week 2 vs Warriors - 4:05pm Sunday 20th of September - Eden Park

A bit of a lack of cohesion in attack at times but you can’t just flip a switch and get good at executing under finals intensity, you need to build up to it. Eg I don’t think the Phins won last week via execution, it was individual brilliance from their backs. The comeback is a deflected pass try, one of the tries of the season off a kick return, and Bostock winning a contested kick.

We were a bee’s **** away from scoring 20 in similar fashion, but they will get so much confidence from how they defended their errors. I am tipping us to win the comp next year.
 
That period just after they blew a couple of tries between around the 10th and 30th minute is where the Knights saved the game and their season, a lot of teams would've buckled under that pressure.
It was frustrating that they couldn't put the warriors away in the 2nd half, when the wahs were practically handing it to them but was really impressed by their defence. Knights definitely had some calls go their way that usually go against them.
2 great wins to be sure but they're not going to get away with blowing chances next week so hopefully they can clean that up at training.
 
Don’t comment during game, to nervous watching, was very very pleased with our effort, surprised we won, thought Warriors were specials with form and home ground and huge fan base.
Big effort from team, stand outs were obviously Crossland along with Sharpe, McEwen, Manu and Croker but the really good thing was Lucas playing like he hadn’t been away and seemed un hindered
Another big one next week.
