I hope Pompey plays and plays like he did last week; he was dire. Also, Laban was clearly hurt early and missed a lot of tackles and was embarrassed on a few occasions by Hammer and Herbie, so hopefully that continues as well.

I'm sure Holbrook is too good a coach to focus solely on individual players, but hopefully there are plenty of opportunities for the Knights if we can get our defence and discipline right.

Andrew johns made a career out of making individual players look bad. Focusing on a weakness usually gives you plenty of luck and points.

I agree, we are going to have to be at our best as they will be at their best. There were signs last week that they wilted physically late last week and our fitness is a plus for us. What gives me hope is how we opened them up with 12 players a month ago. But we will have to work for it.
 
Warriors haven’t been the form team for several weeks now. If you judge them by the full season (which the odds makers and most are), then they’re rightly favorites.

Someone else has already mentioned our freshness from the bye in last round. We’re fresher than them and all pressure is on them.

NRL immortal Andrew Johns exposing weaknesses and making players look bad is hardly the same thing as a coach preparing a team's game plan around a player and getting caught out either by the player playing above expectations or the opposition coach seeing him coming.

You only need to look back at the 2018 Grand Final, where the Storm spent much of the game trying to find Cronk and his busted shoulder in defence before they realised what the Roosters were doing by moving him around and dropping him out of tackles before they changed tactics, but by then it was too late.

I suggest you go back and watch that grand final. They actually tried the ruck defence tactic for 50 odd minutes before going at the man inside and outside cronk where they actually had luck. Then 3 lucky penalties got the roosters 6 points. It wasn't as all one way as it seemed.

The way we play footy worries most teams anyway. Newcastle are going to beat the wahs. We owe them a loss.

I dunno, I can see it going the other way too. All the pressure of expectation in NZ will be on the Warriors, if things don't go their way then they will really start to feel it. A sold out Eden Park crowd who they won't want to disappoint. For us, I think we look fit, fresh and this game is a free pass in many ways, I can see us playing with a lot more freedom.

Also if things start to go poorly for them, or they have plenty of ball but can't score, then they'll be having flashbacks to last week, as well.

For me it's really a 50-50 game.
 
Tough game. Warriors are not playing well they dont seem organised attacking in opposition 20. In years gone by that was their strength. There is just something missing.
The Knights have been playing well, cohesion is a big part of their attack and defence a well oiled machine.
Knights to win. The Warriors will not catch us in the last 20 we will skip away with a win.
 
I think Warriors are going hard in the middle like last week, I am hoping we can weather it but its going to be a big task.
This game is definitely a pretty good an even match up, I cant wait! It should be an absolute banger of a game
