I think everyone is missing the leadership he brings to the team, even for 20mins that could make all the difference in a game like this. It’s a bit of a tricky one, I don’t see him as a huge impact player, more of an 80 minute guy. But you wouldn’t want to start him in a game like this with no match fitness.
Agree. If he’s fit then an injection of pace / agility late on could be just what is needed. Hopefully we haven’t been blown off the park before then!Dyl can actually wreak havoc with his strength, agility and speed through the middle at the backend of the game, against their fatigued forwards. He'll be a bloody handful, might actually be a trump card.
I think winter will be left in Aus to play cup with mcarthey travelling.Im sure the club and staff know what they're doing with Lucas but damn it's early. Would he realistically offer any more than Cant?
If he makes the bench it should be for Winter
A big part of our recent success imo is due to the quick PTB speed of our edge forwards. Allows us to spread the ball without the defence rushing early. We've got it on both sides of the parkI feel like the wahs will target our playmakers this week to stop our shifts. Seen it last week and against manly. Sandon threw some rushed and bad passes when Sullivan or whoever their left half was came sprinting out of the line to put pressure on him. That Clayton bloke did it a lot in that manly game to kp which took him out of his rhythm.
If they give our playmakers time and space especially the skip it’ll be a long night for whoever their centres are.
