Finals Week 2 vs Warriors - 4:05pm Sunday 20th of September - Eden Park

Yeah it’s absolutely nuts that Lucas may not be far from returning after all, and not that Manu or McEwen deserve to be benched.

Pretty proud of the team to be in the position they’re in regardless of what happens even though they and Holbrook thoroughly deserve to be. We’ll see how the Warriors handle 13 v 13 this time hey!

I personally wouldn't bench Manu (or McEwen) for a semi fit Lucas. Our edge forwards have been huge for us, particularly due to their size and power.

Manu has been immense. He is a large and powerful body, the impact in defence has been difference maker in controlling the ruck.

The perfect spot for Lucas, should he return this season, is on the bench in place of Cant. Starting Lucas would be a huge error imo

Yeah. Will cause some problems with his mobility and footwork coming off the bench through the middle. Next year he'll take one of the edge spots, but I think right now this makes the most sense while Manu and McEwen are flying.

Warriors have played six, lost five at Eden Park. But haven’t played there since 2014, so it’ll be a bit of an unknown for both sides.

Crowd is a long, long way from the action at that ground though. I really don’t rate it as a venue.
Why would the Wahs want to play at Eden Park James? Is it a financial issue?

Rate it with Knights perspective for sure! I feel more at ease with Eden than Mt Smart

Sunday start is a good turn around + allows more recovery for Manu’s elbow with Lucas potential return, no injury/suspensions, confidence sky, we on to avenge our SF loss!

The warriors looked well and truly cooked at the end of the game. They looked great at the start with plenty of 'six agains' and penalties going their way. We should take a lot of confidence into the game after they really struggled to put us away with twelve men for three quarters of the game a few weeks ago.
