Watching and listening to Fox and NRL360 is just inviting unhappiness into our lives.
Both organisations have never recovered from Chief’s moral and ethical action in the Super League war.
It’s time for both organisations to get better, not bitter as their mode of operations since the late 1990s.
I avoid having anything to do with either, as they astound me with their empty vessel comments, biased reporting, and playing favourites with teams they played for.
It is an echo chamber, where racing to the bottom has become an art form.
 
What scares me now is who ever reffs our game is going to have somewhere in the back of their mind that Newcastle had the rub of the green and now they will be worried if they may a call that goes our way that might change the momentum of the game they could be dropped so now they just wont give that 50/50 call
Im not saying that will happen but the subconscious mind does some crazy **** sometimes
 
Regarding the Frizell no penalty, I think the problem is the constant changing of interpretation throughout the year. I thought u could run back looking at the ball to catch long as u don’t change your line. At some point someone has to call for the ball, Sharpe in this case being the fullback. Leka crashes into Frizell early and was never going to get in the air for a contest. These have been a bit of a lottery all year, some penalised some not. We just got one, with Klein brave enough to make a call.
I think Klein refs a really good game, didn’t put up with any playing for penalties/injuries, let the game flow really well. Was enjoyable footy to watch, he’s reffed similar games to a high standard. Adam Gee the week before was stop start and lost complete control, ya got no idea what he’s going to call.

Drives me insane. It’s 2026 ffs, there’s no BHP and we’re not all bloody coal miners

Mining only employs about 4% of the area, it’s actually a relatively small employer.

Wish the club would stop banging on about it as well. They’re marketing to a population that hasn’t existed for quite a while
 
One and only time I’ve felt sympathy for the Chooks is when they went back to back and all anyone could talk about was the botched six again call. Raiders had 50 tackles in the Roosters red zone to score that go ahead try but yeah sure one more set, that would have been the one. Sure.

And now I have empathy on top of sympathy because now I know what it’s like.
