I always think back to 1995 ... we finished 5th that year, but made it to the GF qualifier. I always think those three big matches were crucial in giving us the experience to go all the way in 1997.

Would love to get that this year.

1995 ... our finals series started on Friday night ... with a 20-10 win over North Sydney. Kinda freaky!

But ... maybe this means ... premiership 2028?

This is what I was saying with all of the dooming around our forwards during the week. It's not like we had scrubs stepping in, we have young players with genuinely high ceilings who were going to be given a bigger stage to show it. Thought Crouch was good off the bench, too.

He averages 2 a game and that was his season high by a long way and I'd guess a career high.
They were good tackles too - a few of them might have saved tries.

Our defence over all tonight was just on, we showed up and scrambled well and we played a proper finals game style instead of just attack every set.

It was mostly doom and gloom on here all week, I was surprised I thought we still had a decent chance.
