Whoever we end up playing, we'll be fielding a side with about $4m worth of players absent.
Finals are a grind, too. We need to be able to kick deep, getting into and stay in the arm wrestle while making few errors. Couldn't help but notice Sharpe was given the kicking, a first for the Smith Sharpe halves combo. Sharpe's deep boot will be essential if we're to go with other teams in finals

You need to have another look at the ladder
We are a great chance of playing cowboys
Assuming they win, they may rest a heap too, they got nothing to gain or lose this round
Wow, i thought we were locked in to playing Souths, must have read the ladder wrong. Playing Cows at home would be so gun, i think we can beat them even with 4 or 5 guys out. Definitely the preferred matchup. Only worry is, will Roosters rest alot of their players next week?

It doesn’t matter who we play, we have no control over next round results we have to perform to justify our position and to show the other clubs that we will be a threat in 2027
I can’t help being alarmed when people say we should beat someone easily/comfortably, that always comes back to bite us.

My thoughts exactly.
Boys can do it week 1 against Souths or Cows. Then week 2 It’ll be Roosters as they won’t beat Wahs.
This all relies on Mooney being available and Crossy good to go. Can’t have them both gone with Saf and Francis out.
Depending on scans today for Francis there is an outside chance he can play if no fracture. Same goes with Mooney considering he played most of game after popping his shoulder it went straight back in. We’ll be walking wounded, but still dangerous.
