Ex-Knights Watch

I remember when the Sydney media had a cry that we botched negotiations with him because some young kid named
Fletcher Sharpe was held in higher regard and also had a blinder. They were still willing to give him a two year deal
but it was a bit obvious he was behind in the pecking order, and he backflipped on it because he realised he wasn't going to be picked ahead of Sharpe either, and was getting three years and the possibility to start in the ESL.

Turned out alright

Having his best season statistically but Bulldogs fans are underwhelmed. They saw a big, mean looking prop signed on big money and thought they were getting an enforcer, or at least someone who can make an impact in attack, and Leo has never shown any signs of being either of those things. He’s a toiler in an enforcer’s body. If they can get the spine/attack right it’ll reduce a lot of scrutiny on him, but until then he’s going to be a lightning rod for an unhappy fanbase.

The KPP unleashing seems to have been short-lived, too. Still offloading more but otherwise has had almost no impact since the early rounds and stats are down across the board compared to last year. Hasn’t broken a tackle in a month. Hasn't cracked 100m in almost two.
