Yeah I can’t say I’m that worried about what player X did at a different club, plenty of forwards who’ve been nothing at club after club and then finally found the right situation. What was Mark Nicholls before those years at Souths? Scott Sorensen was on the verge of quitting footy to become a wharfie.

I expect a lot out of players we know are stars and game breaking talents eg Kalyn, the Dylans, Bradman, Flarpey. I’m optimistic about guys I’ve had a boner for for a while eg Trey and Sandon. Beyond that I’m not going to pre-judge how anyone goes next year because every season there are a bunch of middling plodders who surprise everyone. Definitely not going to pre-judge after a year where Shibasaki scored two tries in a grand final and played for Qld and Australia 😂

Hastings is playing with Klemmer
There was beef between those two

I wish he would play with Davy Armstrong - I felt Hastings and Armstrong combined well when they were playing and Armstrong has one bad game and gets dropped

Klemmer is gonna have to suck it up because if i know one thing about my time living in england, the poms fkn love Hastings… honestly think Hastings is just a big personality and tall poppy syndrome that us australians suffer from is why he has so many issues with people.

*Edit* Hastings and Klem played all stars oz tag together today so i’m sure they must be somewhat fine with eachother

Reminds me a bit of the Smith years when Clint Newton ended up at Melbourne mid year and went on to win a grand final with the Storm.
Bellamy gets the very best out of all his players, regardless of how well(or not) they played at other clubs.
That’s why he is the best coach in the NRL, as history has shown over and over again.
