Dylan Lucas is top 30 for Knights next yearApparently Knights lower grade coaches Andrew Ryan and Mark O'Meley are both joining former Knights player Cameron Ciraldo on the coaching staff of the Bulldogs.
Some of Ryan's favourite players like Dylan Lucas, Harry Croker, Mitch Black and Dan Ticehurst might get a call.
Not officially - O'Brien and others have said he will be, but the NRL don't have him listed as having a contract.Dylan Lucas is top 30 for Knights next year
I've always liked him.Brock Lamb was impressive on Sunday in Maitlands Real NRL GF win. Has been good all year to just shows he is still class above.
Would you close the door on him completely even a train/trial??
He improved a fair bit in the last few seasons with us and has continued that improvement. Unfortunately something has to give to make way for the young guys coming through. It would have been better to have him on the books for this year instead of Sue but didn't work out that way.I said all along that King was a work horse we needed and better than most people seemed to think ... Look at him now i probably cant count how many people said he was rubbish or a reserve grader only and now the guy is playing for his country ...
Wouldn't have made a difference to this side. Playing in the NRL can very much be about which team you are playing for, who can use you the most. At Melbourne he is another cog who is now benefiting from the exposure of playing in a good team. Here he would have been just a run of the mill player who would be on the verge of losing his spot to a young guy.I said all along that King was a work horse we needed and better than most people seemed to think ... The sad thing about juniors is that you never know when they will peak.So for us boys that don't know or watch Jersey Flegg, Reserves, tell us about this young crop of good players coming through? Maybe Billy is the one to answer this. I have read his posts so I should know. Haha
In hindsight going by how much our team fell apart defensively this year it wouldn't of hurt to give him a small contract. He partnered really well with Klemmer and Safs and kept them hungry. Also not sure on the young guys coming through, we were really bare with lower grade players this year.Wouldn't have made a difference to this side.
