Danny 'Bedsy' Buderus
Just had the ball stripped over the line on what would've been another impressive solo try.
Having watched a fair few of his games now, I really do think in the NRL his best spot is fullback, operating with time and space at second or third receiver. When he’s been called upon to steer a side around I haven’t been very impressed. Very passive and gets the ball flat footed a lot without much of a plan. When he’s playing more opportunistically or being brought onto the ball as a runner, he looks way better. He’s been shoehorned into the halves a lot in the Super League because he’s a talented kicker and passer, but those attributes tend to be a bigger part of a fullback’s game in the NRL than they are in the Super League.I'm watching the game now, Pryce seems to be quite a big talented 5/8.
I wonder what our plan for him next year is?
It would be nice if for their next game on Fox he plays fullback.
True, but by the same token Wigan only kept him because they reckon they’re in a premiership window. Not picking one of your most talented players is cutting off your own **** to spite your face (I’m calling Wigan ****heads for not accepting the transfer fee).Gone from being good enough for the World Cup squad to a bench or even 18th man spot behind players he's clearly better than. Hard to believe that would be the case if he wasn't leaving.
Well either way rookie of the year regardless if he can get the trophy or not.I think technically players with a certain amount of prior experience in the Super League are exempt from the NRL rookie of the year award.
Carrrrmoonnnnnnn down!!!Looks like the Pryce is ryght
