English Recruits Watch

Hull FC are on Fox/Kayo tomorrow morning but no Wigan/Huddersfield this week.

KPP scored a try in round 1 and was one of the leading fantasy scorers in the comp so seemingly was heavily involved but no way of watching the full game.

Huddersfield had a bye last week. Pryce named in their 21-man squad but not sure he'll be in the top 17 to start.

Cheers.
Good to see SKD still going strong with a hat trick.

KPP a good target for high kicks and grubbers.
Hopefully Hastings can use him like that.
He plays on the right, hopefully that means he's a good defender.

I actually miss skd. Was a perfect squad filler for us. I reckon he would still do a job in the NRL. KPP is so raw. Hopefully we can start to learn how to attack.

A good thing is that Hastings and KPP played together for a couple seasons (20-21) so they already have a good relationship and I'm sure they'll have some chemistry from the get go next season for us.

Pryce did start at 6 and scored an impressive solo try in the loss. 2:20 in the video.

KPP was 18th man for Wigan.

Hoy got man of the match in a win over Leeds.

Only difficulty with Super League stats is that they count metres gained differently. Players always end up with a lower total than they would if they made the same runs in an NRL game as a result.

That’s some try from Will.

I noticed in Huddersfield’s pre-season games, Pryce played fullback, Lolohea in the halves. Then first game of the season, Lolohea is at fullback, Pryce in the halves. There’s a coach who needs to be fired 😂

Knew Tex would carve up the Super League. Wasn’t so confident about Cliff.

Not much to see here Huddersfield won the game 6-0…
Pryce had no Highlight plays but had the ball in his hands a fair bit during the video so perhaps he was leading the team around a bit.

Wigan won 36-0
KPP had no highlight plays either.

KPP is named in Wigan's squad but you never really know until an hour before with how Super League team lists work. I'd be surprised if he misses out but he was 18th man a couple of weeks ago.

Huddersfield haven't named theirs yet but Pryce has started both of their games so far.

Halftime in Huddersfield and Pryce has a try and a try assist so far. Took the line on himself off a scrum for his own, put through a grubber for his winger on the assist. Started on the bench but came on after 10 and will presumably play the rest of the game.

Missed Wigan's game but KPP came off the bench as well.
