Dylan Walker ??

I doubt you will have a play for Walker. You'd have to much cap space tied up in the backs including the brothers playing NSW Cup.

Assuming mcmanus goes n souths pay a percentage it could be done?
Brown said yesturday we have room for 2 more players, to what standard of player he means is anyones guess though.

And with all that we have only one centre and Sione has a huge hill in font of him, catching, reading defence for starters, to make a first grade centre. He is young enough to make in time, however.

Regarding Walker, we gotta stop this practice of trying to save trouble makers. At this time his head is too large by a factor of three.

I don't think there's any chance of us signing a big name with those two players, unfortunately. (Unless we manage to offload some current players, of course ... pretty late in the day to be doing that though, and that's even if anyone would take them).

I'm going to go against the grain & say I'd be happy if he doesn't come. I really don't see the fuss about him to be honest. He may score a few tries in a team full of world beaters, but that's something we aren't.
When things are tough, he goes missing & that's something we don't need as things are likely to be tough quite a lot for our team.
Just my two cents worth

Agreed, I don't think he's anything overly special which is why I'd only be happy if Souths paid a decent percentage of his contract or if he's price has come right down after that incident. But while he's no huge star, he's still a really talented and strong player, he's only 21 and has more experience than half of our backline combined including a premiership. He's versatile and would polish off our backline nicely (and keep Ross/Chanel in NSW Cup!)

Seems Tim Grant would be the more likely option. Souths would also be paying some of his contract.

I would definitely want Walker, can't understand why anyone wouldn't. Young, quick and solid all round. He'll play for NSW over the next few years. Will get him on the cheap as well after his incident and with Souffs footing some of the bill.
It would also allow us to move Gagai to fullback and Mamo to the wing making our backline far stronger overall. Great signing whatever way you look at it.

He'd be the third best prop at the club for as cheap as anything. Says more about our standard of forward pack though.

Rubbish I'd take Snowden, Sims, Stockwell, Paea and even Mataora over him, guys been a bludger for the last 5 years, and we aren't exactly renowned for whipping plodders into shape!

You'd have Mataora over Grant, now I've heard everything.

One or two of those gets injured and who do we have? Michael Steele? Josh King? James Taylor? Houston pushing up into the front row? All great options there...

Can make a case for Saifiti though. They both are looking the goods.

Not saying Grant is any good and I'd rather us look at other props over him but if it does happen he'd be as cheap as anything and he gets through more metres and work than half of the guys you named so it'd be a decent signing if we can't get anyone better.

I'd love to sign Grant, forward pack rotation of Sims, Snowden, Stockwell and Grant, along with Paea and Mataora nipping at their heels. We'd get him quite keep as well...

Although I'd have Stockwell starting lock and Mataora or Paea on the bench for impact. But anways, sign Grant
