Dunedin Weather Sucks

I am talking about the flooding. I am kinda scared because I live in mosgiel but I live on the other side to where the fmajor flooding is. But I got scared because I learnt about at work when a porter told me that it was a full house tonight because half of Mosgiel had been evacuated. I thought my house mights have been one of them. But luckily it wasnt. So how is everyone else with it?
 
thats good your house didnt get flooded, i saw mosgiel on the news and its not pretty.

my flat is leaking everywhere esp in our kitchen, we have to get a whole new roof put in!!! so its takeaways for tea until the next fine day when it gets fixed. im on cumby st so we dont have flooding.... but today i made such an effort to get out of bed and go to class (in the pouring rain), then i get there and my classroom was flooded. i spent most of the day watching and taking photos of the leith.

other than that its freezing and i want it to stop raining!!!!!!
 
yeah I am so glad that it is one the other side as well. But if it continues the stream behind my house is going to flood. So I hope it dont happen. Wow you took pics of leith street. I saw that on the news it looked pretty bad. To bad about ya roof.


I had to get up ay 6am this morning and I wanted to stay in bed and stay nice and warm. Luckily my dad was nice and gave me a ride all the way to the door of my work

Yeah I want it to stop raining also
 
I haven't even really noticed anything! Just got very wet walking to and from Uni ...

I might have taken the flooding with me from Lower Hutt, the Hutt river floods pretty much every year, it used to be fun, you'd get the day off school!

Hope your house ends up ok, diva! And hope your flat doesn't leak too much seabass haha.

if you remember the central north island floods 2 years ago..... i was at boarding school in feilding and we got woken up a 3am and our whole hostel had almost flooded, we all had to move to the dorms upstairs. it sucked theres nothing worse than having all your stuff flooded out!!! it was cool though our school was closed for a week and we all got sent back to our home towns.

i hope your house doesnt flood diva because its a crap thing to happen!!
 
It sure would be pretty terrible to have your house flooded, I never had to worry about that in the Hutt, coz we lived on a hill.
 
i hope the waratahs are able to fly in, because im meant to be going to that game (to stand in the cold and freeze my *** off!!! :lol: )
