Dom Young Replacement

left field idea, but watching some of kpps work, at centre in particular, could he be introduced to the nrl as a winger? tall, strong ball carrier with good footwork and already a right side (from what ive seen) player. he would have as much pace as a guy like oates at worst. bringing him in to play left side backrow will take a whole heap of work especially in defense and we have lucas already to a standed to slot in there.
for me it may be worth a look, but I do value start of set carries and a strong running game over raw speed and agility when it comes to wingers.

We seem to always pick up great wingers over the decades soo im not to fussed and dont think losing him will play big part in how we play next season. Dont get me wrong he is just great to watch and sux seeing leave for of all clubs the rorsters.

Honeslty would love to see us pick up some great halfbacks instead now lol

I would not feel sorry for Dom, if the Rorters could no longer afford to pay what was agreed to and he had to accept less.

He had the chance to resign with the Knights for a reasonable sum and his manager did not even bother negotiating with us.

Whatever happens I don't think we have any money left to take him back now. I feel like I've definitely moved on!
There'd be a bunch of other clubs who'd be tripping over themselves to sign him other than Knights or Roosters anyway. I think Dolphins, Tigers etc have the cash and the need. Fully expecting that he still goes to the Roosters, but if he wanted to and could sign elsewhere, those would be interested I'm sure.

Yeah I also get the impression the Roosters haven’t announced their new signings yet because technically they’re over the cap - the official cap this time - and they were counting on moving Crichton on.

God I would laugh if Dom ends up at the Tigers or something like that. I would laugh and laugh.

Saw an article about Alex Young (Dom's brother) being in Sydney and doing sprint training this week. Trainer says he's fast already but has never done sprint training and has plenty of improvement in him.
It might have been the angle of the photo, but it looked like his legs were like matchsticks but his feet looked like he was wearing clown shoes - biggest feet I've seen.
