Ugh. All this interview did was **** me off more. "i want a challenge, I want to play finals footy, that why I chose the Roosters".
Well that doesn't look so good now, considering there ladder position.

It was frustrating to watch and I was rolling my eyes quite a bit. But in the end it seemed like Dom Young is all about Dom Young. Good riddance to him and I hope the Roosters have fun with him there if they keep losing, I doubt he’ll stick around for long.
And personally I hope Tahu and Uate keep the record for 21 tries in a season, because they were true Knights.

He mentioned about finishing on a high note and the semis the try scoring record comment was a bit tongue in cheek I thought.Dom came across a bit ungrateful during the interview. Seems like he cares more about individual accolades like the Knights try scoring record than the teams performance
I thought he came across ok. Spoke highly of Newcastle and particularly Alex McKinnon. Crazy he’s only 21. It’d make my year if he somehow reneged on the Chooks. Won’t happen sadly.
No chance he will have a change of heart. It was a very easy decision for him to sign with the Roosters.
He does gives me Joseph Sua’ali’i vibes. I wouldn’t be surprised in a year or so he is looking for his next challenge like representing England in rugby.

I think the Roosters are excellent salesmen, I've heard the cheese and the like talk about how he was sat down and told the history of the club blah blah.....Watson thought he'd be wearing the 14 for NSW on Wednesday 
No doubt Dom Young thinks he will be the centre for the Roosters moving forward, ( the reports said that was a major factor ) Robinson is an excellent salesman.
The extra $$$ must be a false report , as we all know Young took less money at the Roosters for the sheer honor to wear the red white and blue.

I'd say it's 0-0 currently. Watson has done nothing since he returned to the Roosters. Roosters are poor this year. Young has great potential but I'm not sold that he's a centre. He'll either be very good for them or it'll be a long 4 years for them with that contract.

I’m not sure why he or the Roosters think he’s a center? He’s perfect for the wing. Similar mould to players like Lote Tuqiri, Sammy Radara, Israel Falou, Vinuvalu, etc. All big, tall athletic units who take tough carriers, good finishes and good for attacking kicks. And yes would not surprise me if he goes to Rugby. All those guys did.

I don't mind it personally. I appreciate the honesty. He thinks he's a better chance at winning a premiership at the Roosters than the Knights. Roosters have won 3 since 2013. Our last was in 2001. He is certainly a better chance with them, and I'd back Robbo to turn it around after this year. I hope he and Roosters fall flat lol, but at least he's upfront about why the move is being made.

Everything we’ve read says he went to the Roosters for less, sure he will get post career opportunities there that the Knights haven’t offered and he’ll get much better third party deals, but take off the conspiracy glasses. Just because he chose the Roosters and saw them as a better chance of winning a comp, people have to go on and on with all this braindead nonsense.
Players are always going to gravitate towards better sides. And this dumbass salary cap stuff follows any team that’s successful. I’ve seen it about the Panthers. It used to be the Broncos, Manly … it even used to be us when we had Joey, Bedsy, Kennedy, MacDougall, Gidley, Tahu etc.
As Lord says the Roosters side is hardly stacked atm, it’s starting to look pretty average. I wonder if Young would make the same decision if he was choosing now, having seen how they have traveled this season. (Not saying he’d choose the Knights still haha)
Roosters board is stacked with very successful businessmen . I'm sure the players are guided to off the field opportunities . Dom had no ties to Newcastle . Traveled half way around the world to get here . Good luck to the kid , hope he kills it . But I think there is still a element of doubt . Conner Watson, Brandon Smith . The grass isn't always greener ??
