What a battle it will be though:

Sa'u - slimmer, determined to get that NZ spot back, probably faster too, better coaching
Tahu - we all know he's got the potential to be a gem, the ageing quality centre type
Naiqama - Just about our best player in 2011

Of all, i think Sa'u is the least likely to be put on the bench, because he is not as useful there. Tahu & Wes both have bench experience, Tahu can be a centre/backrower type player if need be & Wes could be our version of Kyle Stanley used off the bench in 2011, just a bit older haha.

Well maybe he has already lost it? Bennett did say that before he had signed Tahu.. And trust me there is no way in hell that Tahu won't be a starting center, so its either Sau or Wes for the other spot.. Sau playing NSW cup, I doubt it. Wes has been mediocre for a very long time, he has one good season and people think he will keep a kiwi international out of the team

No i think he will keep Tahu out of the run on side .

Good Point JH about Sau being less likely to be used on the bench. His lack of versatility may work in his favour!

So he will be playing in the forwards? What? We have a plethora of future superstar forwards and you think Tahu will be used off the bench? Wes and Sau are nobodies compared to Tahu, Bennett isn't stupid he knows what Tahu can offer. There's no question Tahu will be starting centre. Whether Wes or Sau take the other spot only time will tell. I really doubt you will see any of then on the bench

I don't really see the need to run down Naiqama and Sau just because you think Tahu should be in the side ...

On a side not, I wonder how Jimmy Mac and Tahu are getting on after their incident in 2010. If their on the same side of the field could be quite interesting haha. I'm sure they've patched things up though.

I think Wes will have 1 centre spot because Bennett promised it to him (and i reckon he,s a man of his word) and he rang Sau and asked him to stay and in my opinion Sau cant play anywhere else but Tahu on the other hand can cover 2nd row , lock , both centre spots , both wings ,and fullback in my opinion a much better option on the bench . Dont forget Tahu hasnt played much footy in the last couple of years were as Wes had a blinder last year and Sau played well enough to be picked to play for his country to be honest he was 3rd or 4th pick but still lol.
