Crowd for test match

I read they only have 7,500 tickets sold for the game so far. That is a disgrace?!? Should nbn not telecast the game live?
 
Should have been played at Skilled or Suncorp.

Majority players are QLDers anyway and NSW Players will benefit when they turn up a few weeks later for origin.
 
Sydney is so shocking when it comes to international league. And to think they complained when they didn't get the world cup final!

This game doesn't sell out in Brisbane, but it does get 40,000+.
 
Sydney is shocking with Origin too.

I read in the tele today that Brisbane's game sold out in 3 hours and Sydney haven't had a sell out in 3 years.
 
All I know is I've been to Origin every year for the past 4 or so years. :)
Can't wait for this years.

Yup it was heaps gooood. He dominated. I haven't seen such a dominating display before, being at the game anyway.
NSW need a new Joey badly.
 
Nobody can replace Joey.

Anyway, back on topic..hopefully its a sell-out.

Maybe this is a scare campaign to get more people to the game? :icon_lol:

They had 80000 or so for last years **** weak game which is alot of people plus it seats plenty more than suncorp
 
Yeah it wasn't a sell out, but it was close. Still an exceptional atmosphere.

Especially during the slim dusty tribute with the dimmed lights the best part of the night was when phil gould was doing his sideline commentry near were I was sitting good booed heaps but was happy about it for some reason
 
That is absolutely shocking! If I lived in Sydney I would definately be there. They dont know how lucky they are ](*,)

Nine (and therefore NBN) will air the game live, I think they're contracted to do so. Otherwise Fox Sports cracks the s***s and calls for the anti-siphoning list to be scrapped. Again.
 
What is the capacity for tonights match with all the renovations going on ?

I think anything near 20k will be a good size crowd.
